Vendors were nice some were selling khmer outfits (traditional clothing), foods such as wrapped banana leaf dessert, boba and more. some were selling parasols for about 12-20$ fair price. It's kinda ironic as I enter, I see a monk sitting under a tent chanting and at the same time the live band overpowering him with the instruments, while the ladies singers screeching a tune lol!!! As I continued further in, many happy party goers dancing in the center of the tent. Food vendors selling noodle soups, meat sticks, desserts, one too many jewelry vendors. Toys for kiddos, art and paintings. My favorite vendors are the fashion one, from traditional silk attire to shirts with Khmer pride logos. I felt deeply relaxed and centered throughout the session, thanks to the calm and supportive environment. There's also free water available, which is a nice touch. The only thing I want to mention is the parking. it can be a bit confusing at first. I mistakenly parked in a lot next to the meditation center, but turns out you're supposed to head inside the house and park in the back. Once I figured that out, it was easy to find parking. This is a little private Vietnamese Buddhist temple tucked away in the hills. We stopped by a few…read moremonths ago during Lunar New Year and were shocked by how picturesque it is once you're here. They are not open to the public during the week (members only and all the chants are done in Vietnamese) but on Saturdays, they are open to the public for worship. This is mostly run by volunteers and a few monks (they call them masters) and everyone is very friendly and nice. Though we do not speak Vietnamese they were very welcoming to us. I would highly recommend if you're Vietnamese and looking for a Buddhist temple to visit or be a part of.
