RUN RUN RUN RUN AWAY…read more We were referred to Dr. Raby from our Pediatrician, after our son had an Emergency trip to the Emergency Room for eating peanuts. I will cut to the chase: We waited 2.5 HOURS to be seen after our scheduled appointment time. Which is so awesome with a two year old. The nurse came in finally, and skin tested our son (they stick 30 needles in their back) which was also unpleasant as you can imagine. The nurse who did the testing was roughly 92 years old, (Very nice, but probably needs to not be doing this) and concluded that our son was allergic to OAT, not Peanuts. They suggested lab testing where we then had to schedule a blood draw, and after getting those results, it was confirmed that he was indeed allergic to Peanuts and not Oat. Long story short, the nurse messed up the skin test. Full stop. I questioned the lady when they called with the results of the lab test, and she suggested coming back for a re-test. I then asked for a call back from the Doctor, and the woman (Lisa) said "The doctor doesnt call patients, she makes her recommendation than has us call" STAY AWAY. STAY FAR AWAY.

Don't just walk, RUN away from this office!!…read more My husband was referred to Dr. Raby by our PCP for a terrible bout with a skin rash. Dr. Raby performed in office allergy testing on him, which seemed like a logical place to start. We got some results right away from that, but she also ordered blood work. My husband didn't realize until he got to the lab, the blood work amounted to 10 vials (!!) of blood, as well as a urine sample. We were feeling pretty optimistic though thinking all this testing would surely tell us what was wrong with him. Turns out, we couldn't have been more wrong! Three weeks after this work up, I received my Explanation of Benefits from my insurance company and learned the office visit to Dr. Raby was almost $1000 and the blood work... the blood work totaled almost $5000!! This shock combined with the fact we have not even HEARD from Dr. Raby about the lab results added insult to injury. My husband promptly showed up in the office (after not being able to get a call back) and was told the blood work showed nothing more than we learned from the in office allergy testing. We assumed that Dr. Raby had a plan of action to tackle my husband's issue and never thought she was just "shooting in the dark" with all this testing. Since the initial visit, we never even heard back from Dr. Raby. The best my husband got was information through the nurse. On 6 July, more than four weeks after my husband's appointment, the nurse phoned to say Dr. Raby recommended he take a whole slew of allergy medications to cover the gamut. This whole debacle has been absolutely ridiculous and ghastly expensive with nothing to show for it.

I called a couple days later and told the nurse I felt no relief. I was told wait 10 days and call back if no improvement. I have called twice and had to leave a message both times. I never received a call back. So disappointed that I have been ignored. Hopefully I can get a referral for another Orthopedic doctor where I am given successful treatment, care and respect. Not only have they changed in a year, but they are more than doubled what I paid at the end of 2024! She looks at my tattoo and said I don't know if machine will even work on the tattoo. So they have some fancy tattoo pico machine they want to charge a lot of money for and it doesn't fade tattoos!! I do not recommend anyone to go there for a tattoo removal.

Supposedly gave me 78 units which I've never had in my life and a quarter of my face looks like it had Botox. The other looks awful. I do not recommend them at all. I used to be married to a facial plastic surgeon so I know when doctors use expired Botox or fillers. And that's exactly what they did to me. I would never suggest going to them. It was a terrible experience and I will never ever go back.

The first three sessions felt rushed--very quick in and out. During the third session, my back was burned, leaving red circular marks all over my back, that required silver cream and were quite painful. Coverage was inconsistent, with no clear grid system used to ensure all areas were treated evenly, resulting in patchy areas ("tiger striping"). For my final two sessions, I had a fourth technician who used a completely different approach and showed much more attention to detail. Unfortunately, by that point, the inconsistency had already impacted the overall results. The cool sculpting, 5 stars! She was amazing! From the initial screening, throughout the two sessions, the touch up and final. Very good And pleased with those results.

I had an incessant cough - so bad that I was having trouble catching my breath. (Why I didn't tear my husband away from his football game and take me is still a mystery.) I hadn't been to urgent care since the middle of Covid. I figured I might as well go back to the last place I had been. They were close and in the past, quick. I got there to find them closed with a homeless person passed out in front of their entrance. Now where to go? I've had more than my share of lousy service at AFC so I continued to look. I saw Approxie care on the list of sites. I was a good 10 miles away but I at least knew where it was - I had received a (drive-thru ) Covid test there. I arrived to find one other family in the waiting area. I grabbed a mask, quickly checked in and sat in the corner to distance from the others. Check in was easy, you know the drill - hand over your cards, fill in the papers on the clipboard and have a seat. No different from most any medical encounter. I waited no more than 10 minutes when I was escorted into the exam room. A young girl - high school young - took my vitals, asked me about what was going on and swabbed me for Covid and the flu - pretty routine. In the back of my mind I wondered how a teenager was qualified to work there but she told me it was her third year in the medical program at Bob Jones. Later when I thought about it, I was impressed that Approxie was actively supporting our young people in their career paths. Dr Shah soon came in, listened to my chest - he didn't need to ask me to cough. I'm sure had heard me through the walls. He asked a few questions, listened to my chest and diagnosed me. Apparently my symptoms were textbook for walking pneumonia. It was just a gut feeling, but Dr Shah's bedside manner immediately made me trust him. He did do a chest xray to reassure me as bronchitis and I are no stranger. He prescribed a breathing treatment and antibiotics and sent me home with the standard rest and hydrate and like that, less than an hour after I entered the building, I was driving home. The only issue that I had was that Dr Shah told me to do the breathing treatment twice a day but my orders and prescription both said once a day. By the time I called the office to confirm, they were closed. The medicine had me feeling better in a couple of days though 3 weeks later I still have a cough. Approxie definitely isn't the most convenient place to my home but if and when I or a family member needs urgent care, this is the place we are coming too. I really can't say enough about the care I received.
