I asked him to hook up the rotorhead at a later time so heavy equipment bringing topsoil don't damage them. He insisted on getting paid in full or he finishes everything then. I reluctantly paid him in full, and when I needed him to come back and install the rotor heads and controller, he would not reply to messages or answer my calls until 5 days later, when his reply came in the form of a text, with a screenshot of the plumber's invoice asking me to pay it (mind you, it was in his name and also overdue) after which he would put me on the schedule and come finish the job. The plumber's fee was clearly part of the total price that he quoted and which he's already received! He clearly was surprised by that bill and thought he would sucker me into paying it. I ended up installing the heads and controller myself, but there was a leak somewhere in the system. I swallowed my pride and reached back out to him because he knew what he put in the ground and should know the anatomy of the system. When I offered to help him by paying half of the plumber's invoice, he agreed to come and gave me a date. At the end of the day he never showed up and never replied anymore. He clearly did the math and decided that it would still be cheaper for him not to show up. It is not worthwhile involving a lawyer, but I will reach out to the BBB and the MO attorney general's office/consumer protection. I would definitely stay away from him. A real low life!

After chatting with the guy who performed work on my neighbors system last year (and didn't accept anything for the advice he offered when asked) I used Professional Irrigation Systems in 2022. What a different experience it was! I didn't realize that I had to have annual back flow testing and the notice came when I was on vacation. As such, it was tight getting on the schedule in time, but the very friendly lady on the phone took care of me. What's better is that if I was comfortable leaving them the garage code, I didn't have to be home! The service professional called on the day of service, asked me to confirm that the timeline worked, confirmed I was comfortable with them letting himself in, and wasn't annoyed at all that I forgot to lock my dogs up. He said he would call after he performed the system assessment. After careful assessment he called with a report of repairs needed that I knew about for obvious reasons (broken heads). The prices are reasonable and the process was easy. The gentleman even set the schedule for me because apparently it was in such a way that didn't make sense at all, which I believe given the state of my grass. Anyway I'm very pleased with the service and convenience. Thank you!
