I did the legwork for the purchase of the stones and the design work with the stone yard and I had to layout which stones went there for the crew. A few of the stones were chipped and some were stained, the crew left them as they were, I had to buy the stain cleaner and do it myself. The sand was not even in all areas and they filled an asphalt hole the made with sand instead of asphalt as we had agreed. I asked for edging around the walkway at the end of the project because I thought it looked nice, it looked like they used scrap pieces they had around the shop. I had complained about the crew being on the phone and taking long lunches and got a sympathetic ear from the owner but was charged with extra labor time. It's the reason I've been asking them back every year. Other reviews have mentioned that they're not great at phone communication and follow-up, and I've also found this to be true. However, I've found them very responsive over email. So that's how I've been communicating with them for the past couple of years, and I've been happy. I recommend these guys for general landscaping, lawn maintenance, and clean-up work.

The reason this review is two stars is that the landscaping and walkway came out lovely. Unfortunately, the deck began to fall apart by November 2020. Boards were hanging off the side, boards were cracking, boards on top of the deck were sinking, steps were wobbling. Contacting KnK was absolutely fruitless - I tried phone, email, even Facebook Messenger. I did get an email from someone claiming to be the Account Assistant Manager, who wanted to "make things right". When I did call him, he asked me what sort of estimate I wanted. When I explained I did not want an estimate, he mysteriously became impossible to contact. Several weeks after contacting them, someone came back to hit a few boards with a hammer. After contacting them again, several weeks passed when someone stopped by, and said he would take one board to measure and cut, and would replace the broken boards. He came while we were at work to replace the one board he took and left the rest. We ended up interviewing 3 different contractors to fix the mess that KnK made. All 3 of them told us it looked like something we tried to do ourselves. Even worse, when the Trex was removed as it had to be re-cut and replaced, our new contractor found rotted beams and Trex pieces holding up bricks and concrete blocks under the deck - so unsafe! I sent KnK a certified letter including pictures of the mess they made, asking them to replace the labor fee for the deck (it cost us 4 times that amount to actually fix the deck) and they simply ignored me. The BBB stated that they won't handle purchases over 1 year old so I was unable to leave a review there like I had hoped. Just hoping that this review saves someone else the headache. It's too bad as the landscaping and brick work turned out really nicely, but I can't recommend this company just due to their customer service.

My parents not got water but also mud in the area where Fastline did the work. I have contacted on numerous occasions. They said they would send someone out. Never did and now no response.Mt parents are old and my dad is on oxygen. They even left the soil they dug up with returning it where they got. I told the has now sunk and they covered the drain with the soil. Still no response. Contacted FEMA to advise them my parents have been scam by William McGinley at Fastline. They requested I forward their in to them. Will do that tomorrow. DO Not trust Fastline.
