They had no idea what they were talking about, didn't fix the problem, gas lit me and made me feel like I was the problem-telling me I sewed too fast and that I wasn't threading right. Lol. I finally left that store and took it to Gary's. He was kind, friendly, understanding of my situation and fixed the problem. Lucas, really knows what he's doing. He knows those machines inside and out. Now that my machine is aging, rather than trying to make a buck off me and sell me a new serger, he suggested that my machine was still in good condition, (though it is aging) and to ride it out till the end before buying a new machine. He didn't try to manipulate me into buying a new machine when I had a perfectly good one already. He is extremely honest and I will never step foot or recommend anybody to see the other local Sewing Mechanic in town. I will always tell people to go to Gary's from here on out. You will not regret it. He also lets you sew on your machine after to make sure it's up to your standards and explains what the issues were and what he did to fix it. It is a relief and comfort to know that if anything happens to my machines I can take them to Gary's. If you're debating which place to take your machine to in town, do not hesitate, go to Gary's.

They had a lot of awesome stuff inside, some of the wooden beams seemed to still be original. (I could be wrong) But if they were original, it was absolutely amazing to see such history being preserved and still used. You can still see many of the markings in the wood from being shaped by tools like axes. I found it very fascinating. The stairs that go up are a bit small and narrow so watch your step going up and down. There were a lot of historical/antique items inside that intrigued and fascinated me. I will defiantly be returning at some point. I did have to walk over some buckets in one of the farther buildings that were catching water from the ceiling, to be fair, the place is quite old. By my calculations from a quick google search, (source listed below), part of this building is at least 127 years old, not exactly new. It's not going to be in pristine condition so don't expect it. If your ever bored or want to look at a piece of history, I highly recommend visiting this place. They had buckets everywhere Getting the water. I hope they can get this fixed soon because they have a lot of furniture that could be getting damaged. If you are a reseller, the prices are not good. They are eBay prices. But if you were looking for a unique gift or something special for your home, I believe the prices are very good. They have a good selection of furniture, metal, outdoor fun, character, items, jewelry section, knickknack section, plate section, used book section, just a lot of stuff upstairs downstairs, and on the main floor. We were greeted when we came. The lady upfront was nice. There's plenty of parking. We will definitely come back if we're looking for a unique gift.
