He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We also purchased some Jacuzzi replacement pillows inserts. The next day our hot tub was delivered by Daniel and his team. The washing machines looked dirty so I asked the girl working if I should dare put my brand new comforter in. She said "we clean our machines everyday." I asked her about the comforters hanging in the other side of the building and she said those were for dry cleaning. The tag on my comforter says do not dry clean and do not bleach so I went ahead and picked the cleanest of the four largest washers that they had here & it came out worse than when it went in! Wish I would've followed my first instinct and turned around & left when I walked in!!! I was talking to the employee about how this came out and she said, "Umm I don't know, did you drag it on the floor?" and "Ummm I don't know maybe bleach it." I told her again I cannot bleach it and it cannot be dry cleaned & asked if they would pay to wash it again. She's said "ummmm I don't know." So I called the owner and she said "Oh, I've never heard of that happening with our washers" and "Our washing machines don't do that." She asked if I would bring it over to their skyline and Broadway location and I asked her if they would just pay to wash it again and she said "Yes." It came out worse than it did after the first wash!!! She said to add OxiClean to it with my tide. So pretty much my comforter cleaned their washing machine for them and for $12 in cleaning I got a ruined $120 comforter. If I could give them negative stars I would. I went to talk to the girl to see if I could have them send it over to the skyline location to have the owner clean it & You're not going to believe this... I explained that when I bought the w&d set I was told 130. I'm told well the owners not here if you want it you pay my price. I say can you have the owner call. Im told yea hell call but I will sell it before then for 325. I hung up and will never deal with this poor excuse of a business again.

We've bought a few appliances used from Northgate, and while one did break down sooner than we would have liked, they were extremely helpful in helping us diagnose it over the phone, and offered us a reasonable discount on the parts, which I swapped in myself. Even more recently they gave us a very good deal on a rebuilt washer transmission, and threw in a replacement (used) agitator for free! You will probably pay more for replacement parts from Northgate than ordering online, but I think it's worth spending a little extra because of the good customer service we have received, and it's supporting a local business.
