I really appreciate how easy it was to have my job completed by Watertite Plumbing. They had honest pricing (we previously used a bigger company and am so glad we tried these guys out), had great customer service, and they were easy to communicate with. They were even available on the weekend! There were few things that really stood out to me. 1) This is a small local company and Sharif, the person I spoke to on the phone, assured me that the person I'm speaking to is the person that will be there to do the work. 2) Sharif was extremely professional with how he conducted the work. He brought an apprentice and overheard some of the pointers he gave, which included being mindful of the aesthetics of the work and bringing extra supplies in case something needed replacing. 3) Sharif, after replacing some piping valves, reattached the water lines in a way that was organized and held in a way that would prevent a movable water faucet head from getting caught and potentially causing damage. Sharif did a ton of stuff for us - replaced the water heater with an energy efficient heat pump water heater, relocated several drain lines to our exact spec for our remodel, installed a PRV to regulate water pressure, replaced a ton of galvanized, old copper, and really questionable lines with new PEX lines, insulated the hot water lines, reloacated our washer/dryer, and installed our hot water recirculating pump. The work looks great the water runs and drains well, no more leaks, no more unsightly plumbing. I really think the quality and price are great. Communication was also top tier. Sharif is very responsive over text and calls. On top of that, he was able to do all the work to code and get the proper permits. Several other plumbers suggested we do the work without permits (to make their job easier?)-- we wanted to be sure everything was done up to the latest code (especially for insurance coverage reasons) and Watertite made that happen. read more

Professional, polite and thoughtful, he listened to my concerns and did an excellent job with our one-piece toilet replacements at a very reasonable price compared to what others quoted. Our water meter was running at the street when we had faucets off. I knew it was an interior leak because shutting the line off at the house stopped it. Our water bill was triple what it normally was. I dreaded the thought of calling a plumber, and put it off longer than I should have. Ultimately I searched Nextdoor and Yelp looking for someone affordable and knowledgeable. Narrowed it to three and went with Sharif at Watertite Plumbling because he was the only one I found with zero complaints across Nextdoor and Yelp. He exceeded all expectations. He diagnosed the problem within minutes. Our hot water tank was failing. It was heating and dumping hot water. He adjusted his schedule and prioritized us. Pulled out two 40 gallon tanks from a small space and replaced them. It was so tight he had to cut out pipes and replace those too. Apparently it was done incorrectly years ago, from a different plumber, so he has it all working as it should. Price was super reasonable, in fact, it was reasonable enough I never questioned it or felt the need to shop around. They worked HARD too. Shariff and his apprentice spent most of the day on it, due to its impossible location. They encountered unforeseen additional costs, but stuck to their original bid. We've been in our 1960s house for 7 years and have a fair share of misc plumbing needs and used various plumbing companies. Always found the quoting process tedious. I never thought I'd find our "go-to" plumber, but here we are. :) We used Watertite twice in the past year. First for an outdoor leaky hose bib replacement in June 2022. They provided a fast, easy, and very reasonable mid-range quote. Communication was VERY on point. Arrived within the communicated window. And work was done by Sharif and his assistant in a reasonable time. Recently, had a slightly more urgent clogged sink issue. Sharif was the first and only place I called bc he was able to come diagnose and fix within 24 hours. Sure, part of the timing might have been luck. But it feels good I didn't have call around and settle for the fastest available service. Needed to replace a 40 gallon natural gas water heater. Watertite was responsive, reasonably priced, clean and on schedule.

Sharif repaired my burst hose bib which had frozen over the winter. The connection was in a difficult to access area, and a previous plumber had quoted me $2000 for the job. Sharif finished the job over two short visits and charged me $470. I was extremely pleased with his service for a few different reasons: - I called him four times over the course of the repair job, and he picked up right away each time. - He was very transparent and forthcoming about the details of the job. The knowledge he gave me about hose bib maintenance and operation was at least as valuable to me as the actual repair he made. - He gave a solid quote within the first phone call, and the final charge matched that initial amount. I will be going to Sharif for all my future plumbing issues for as long as I live in the Seattle area. One very minor nitpick: he and his associate did track a little bit of drywall/masonry dust on my floor. Ideally, they would have cleaned that up before they left. But again - a very minor issue that doesn't even preclude my rating them five stars. read more

I am currently reviewing bids from multiple plumbing companies for a water heater replacement and possible upgrade project, and partial repipe from galvanized to PEX. Sharif Mased with Watertite Plumbing came by today (8/19/21) for a site visit, and I was very impressed with him. The 3rd contractor bid thus far, and he was the most well communicated, friendly, and informative contractor to visit for the project. Great guy, quality work, reasonable rates!

My heater has been acting up and not following the temperature set on the thermostat. I've done my own troubleshooting and tried to replace the flame sensor but issue still persists. I've reached out to several folks and decided to setup appt with Sharif. He came and did his diagnosis and told me the issue is not with my furnace but with my thermostat. Something that i never would have guessed because the nest thermostat is only 2 years old. Sharif definitely knows about furnace was not pushy at all and was not trying to force me to replace my furnace just so he could make a profit. And he didn't charge me at all for the diagnosis. He's an honest person, something we don't see anymore nowadays.
