It was a Saturday, so... not a great start to the weekend, and also, not a lot of (decent) plumbers available! Anyway, I posted a project on Yelp, and Homeservice Plumbers were fairly quick to respond after my other Project options (not to be named here) either demanded a phone number or made wishy-washy timing range options (which were not amenable to my schedule). Homeservice Plumbers was quick, to the point, and not pushy or demanding at all anytime I was talking to them. I scheduled for Tuesday between 12-2pm arrival, and Xavier, the first person who came out to see the problem, showed up in a timely manner (just before 12pm!) as he had another service call in the area. He was respectful of property (brought his own shoe coverings!) and was also pleasant to work with. Unfortunately he didn't have the tools, but he was the one to call in Nick who had the requisite tools for the job. He confirmed the service would be possible, and off he went. The next person, Nick was great to work with - he arrived promptly at 5pm (the quoted range was 3-5pm, which was perfectly reasonable), respected the property (brought his own shoe coverings, asked to use a small bowl to capture the grease drippings from the p-trap, and cleaned up after the work was done), and was able to provide a fair estimate for a high value of quality work. He finished by 6:30pm and confirmed the drain was working, and verbally confirmed (it's not on the invoice but I hope I never have issues again!) that there's a one year labour warranty - great deal! I never caught the phone "operators" name (my bad, she called me THRICE and I still never caught her name), but she was cordial, polite, and quickly handled my concerns for updates on when the plumber(s) would arrive. Scheduling through Yelp was simple and easy - and having no "service call" fee means there's no obligation to go through with anything you're not comfortable with. Anyway, short story (really) long: this company is on my list of "high quality work at a fair rate", because (1) they don't charge for service calls, which is a bold move in today's service-oriented environment, (2) they are reasonable with pricing given that I'd done some research beforehand, and (3) they verbally offered a warranty for their services, which means that they're willing to stand by the quality of their work. Call them today for your plumbing issues. Fair, honest, trustworthy service is hard to come by - the companies you see on the billboards aren't the only options in town!

I got a phone call in the morning at 8:26 saying they would be here in 20 minutes, I was still sleeping. Got out of bed and there was a knock at my door- 2 mins later! I was not prepared. He said they would be back between 2 and 4 to do the repair, they didn't get here until after 5 PM. I was severely overcharged. I was told I would just be charged for parts and labor. They charged me $250 for a $99 faucet, I looked it up. And charged me $500 for less than 20 minutes of labor. Obviously, the timeslots mean nothing to these people. And again, I feel like I was severely overcharged.

He share couple quotes for repairing or alternatively replacing my existing electric water heater and patiently explained the quote breakdown and work required. His quotes were the most reasonable of all people I requested from. I ultimately decided to try and DIY the fix - replacing the thermostat and heating element myself. Brandon went the extra mile and helped me iron out details like where to get specific parts from and was available to jump on a call and walk me through the repair. That level of support was so unexpected and so reassuring. His advice was critical since the parts I was looking at home depot weren't really compatible. Thanks Brandon and water heater doctor. If my repair doesn't hold and I need replacement for sure I will go with them. Highly recommend.

Instead of just selling me the more expensive or larger option, he took the time to explain the pros and cons in detail and suggested installing a mixing valve as a better alternative for my needs. He was very clear and walked me through a few different options, which I really appreciated. On installation day, Brandon arrived right on time and worked quickly to get everything set up. There was a small hiccup because Brandon didn't have the mixing valve with him, but he was very transparent about it. He took the time to explain the pros and cons of the valve again, and I ultimately decided not to install it at that time. What really impressed me was the follow-up. Patrick called me afterward to check on the job and specifically asked about the mixing valve. He even offered to honor the original price if I decided I wanted to install it later. I spoke with three different vendors, and while their price was right in the middle, the Water Heater Doctor won my business because they were by far the most helpful and knowledgeable during the consultation. Highly recommend!

As this wasn't an emergency, the dispslatcher said it would be today or tomorrow before a plumber would be sent. He was sent today. Sean called and arrived early afternoon and looked at the repair. He presented us three options and solid estimates. We chose the middle one and then decided to also ask about a toilet replacement. Again, Sean presented us options and we agreed to one He gave us. As he didn't have the toilet on his repair truck, Bee's dispatched an employee with a new toilet. Sean was very professional in his work, answering questions as he proceeded with the work. He mentioned a couple of things that needed replacing due to their aging. We agreed to have them replaced. When Sean presented the invoice, it was exactly as he stated. At no time did he try to "upsell" items were didn't need, unlike other plumbing firms in this area that are heavy TV advertisers. I would recommend Bee's Plumbing to anyone that ask! Thank you, Sean! And, thanks to your employer for all they have taught you, in not only the aspects of plumbing but also in customer service!

Only now my kitchen is torn apart, and I was informed today that the restoration company has a backlog on the restoration of over a month and that I have to contract my own restoration company if I want it done sooner. I've contacted Bees and am waiting for a call back, yet again. I'd like to provide some feedback to Bees: I have made a total of 4 calls to your company over the last several weeks. Your customer service staff has always been friendly and concerned about resolving this issue. I leave the calls feeling like this issue will get handled. However, every time I have been told that a manager will contact me. This has not happened once. Not one phone call from someone in charge to reach out to me, to apologize, let me know what the plan is, what to expect, what the timeline is. I'm honestly fine with a phone call that says "we don't know but we're working on it. We'll call you on this day with more information." I don't understand why no one has reached out to me for a 5 minute phone call to let me know I'm not being ignored, in over a month. That needs to change.
