The Apartment from Hell I've only been living in this…read moreapartment complex for a few weeks, and my experience has been extremely disappointing. Within the first few days, I noticed a strong sewage-like odor coming from the unit. I tried multiple ways to eliminate it myself, but nothing worked. I attempted to open the windows for ventilation, but there are no screens, and I ended up dealing with insects getting inside. When I reported the issue, maintenance briefly stopped by and claimed there was no smell and that everything was functioning properly. They didn't even notice that the toilet was leaking until I pointed it out. After their "investigation," I was told the odor from the building and that there was nothing they could do. They then closed the service request without resolving the issue. Because the odor persisted, I had to seal off the main bedroom and bathroom. I purchased an expensive air purifier and have been staying in the smaller bedroom. I've spent hundreds of dollars on air-cleaning products, yet I still wake up with a sore throat and persistent cough. There are also multiple maintenance issues throughout the unit: * The dishwasher was dirty and appeared to have mold. Maintenance initially dismissed it, but after I used it, my dishes came out covered in black residue. Only then did they acknowledge the problem. * The refrigerator does not maintain proper temperature. If I lower it, the freezer melts; if I raise it, items in the fridge freeze. My milk regularly turns to ice. * When the AC turns on, the entire apartment shakes significantly. * The washer was dirty and required me to purchase cleaning products to make it usable. * The dryer was full of lint, which I also had to clean myself. * The garbage containers are consistently dirty. Overall, this has been a very frustrating and concerning experience. If you value your health and comfort, I would strongly reconsider renting here. I need a solution for the smell . Your comment did not address the smell and you are not solving the main issue . I did contact your office and the office manager scolded me in an email because I keep on complaining , I should not complain right? I should accept to live in filth and bad smell . The courtesy that you did was an odor bonb that lasted 30 minutes !

Also my brother went and shopped there and was told that they do not like to lease to families and only singles and young couples. I am pretty sure this is very against fair housing rules. The office staff (Bri, Samantha and Mr. G) are friendly, helpful and responds promptly to any questions or concerns. Any and all maintenance issues are addressed in a very timely fashion and Joe does an amazing job taking care of your needs. The amenities (gym,, pool,, bbq area pool table, free coffee/computer lounge and dog park) are an added bonus! Also, the fun pop-up events for the residence and their pups is great as well! The place is overloaded with contractors with some apartments having 5-6 of them. The parking lot reflects that with trucks lining the road way. They often party all night and seem to think its normal to throw cigarette butts and chicken bones off their balcony's. The place is no longer that safe during the evenings the weekends, many times my wife was catcalled and leered / followed during her evening walks with the dogs. There was also a morning when 8 cops were outside the apartment due to a fight / drunken disagreement. Furthermore, there is dog droppings everywhere because no one picks up after their dogs. Management occasionally sends letters to tenants about these issues, but with zero effect. They feel that is due diligence I suppose. Also, they do not properly clean the air ducts and there is for sure a mold issue. This is attested to through the reviews over several years. When we complained they simply painted over the black mold on doorway and did a DIY air test. It get's worse, I have spent months working with the 3 credit agencies to repair my credit that was destroyed because the Manager opened an Entergy account in my name for an apartment I did not move into. Even though she admitted to the mistake, somehow they think that's not their fault. Their Regional Manager from Georgia Mr. Bernie Adams called to (I was hoping to address the issues, but no) systematically deny liability for any wrong doing for each of our issues one at a time including the credit problem, which was mind blowing. My advice to anyone (other than single guys who love chicken wings, cigarettes, dog droppings and don't care about their credit), is to look elsewhere. There are lots of nice SAFE apartment complexes run by capable locals that care about their tenants and respect the fact they are paying customers. This is not one of them.
