This is a great school to send your kids to. There are so many different extracurricular activities…read morethat your child can choose from. This includes normal things like sports and music as well as activities that I never heard of until I sent my kids here. They can participate in run club and run in a 5k. There's a ninja warrior type obstacle course that they can train and run. They can take karate. There are so many options that your child can find something they truly enjoy. The staff is usually helpful and caring. We have had a few times were we had to email/call teachers multiple times before we heard back. Which wouldn't be annoying if it didn't take weeks to hear anything from them.

In relation to Mark Twain's study specifically: I saw this in conjunction with Mark Twain's grave,…read morethe Corning Glass Museum, and the Rockwell Museum. Though the furnishings aren't original, the entire structure is original, as is the floor, the fireplace, windows. The structure was moved from the Twain summer estate to Elmira College in the 50s. Even the stone fireplace was taken apart and rebuilt stone by stone. He wrote some of his best known work here. It was a neat little stop off, and it would have been heavenly to relax, think, meditate, nap, or write here. Elmira College has some nice architecture and a pretty fountain as well.
