It all started when I received a USPS notification that an "Urgent Time Sensitive" envelope from Burrow & Associates was on its way. Concerned, I called the office at 8:32 AM to inquire about the letter. A female staff member answered the phone, and I explained the situation. I asked if I could provide my name and address so that she could assist me in understanding what the letter was about, as I have no history of bankruptcy or any legal issues. Angelique responded by saying, "This is a firm with over 35 offices. You haven't even opened the letter to see what it is. I can't tell you what's in the envelope until you open it." I tried to clarify my request and reiterated that I was simply trying to understand the situation. Instead of listening, Angelique continued to be dismissive, so I politely asked if I could speak to someone more knowledgeable, perhaps the person in charge of Marketing. She responded in a condescending tone, stating, "I am in charge of Marketing and I am also the Office Manager. You can't speak to anyone else." At that point, I realized I wasn't going to get anywhere, so I ended the call. After some reflection, I decided to follow up and try again. When I called back, a kind, professional staff member answered and was able to assist me. However, when I was transferred to another person, I was greeted by the same attitude--Angelique again. This time, she answered with an unprofessional tone, saying only, "How may I help you?" without any courtesy such as thanking me for holding or acknowledging the wait. When I mentioned that I would be writing a review about my experience, Angelique's tone shifted, and she attempted to gaslight me, claiming that my earlier experience was not what I had described. Honestly, I cannot recommend Burrow & Associates based on this experience. While everyone can have bad days, the level of unprofessionalism and condescending attitude from a staff member in such an important position--especially as an office manager and marketing director--raises serious concerns. If this is how a potential client is treated, I can only imagine how the attorneys conduct themselves. For anyone considering this firm, I strongly advise looking elsewhere!!!

Lazy, Unprofessional, and Dishonest!…read more We hired Ken at Piedmont Injury Law after a horrible accident (we were not at fault) and couldn't be more disappointed with the results. First, Ken had us sign a contract that awarded him 40% of gross recovery which is about 7-10% higher than the industry average (that should have been the first warning sign). After signing his contract, Ken did not put any time or effort into our case and dropped the ball at every turn. We had several meetings in his office where he and his assistant were not even prepared to tell us where our case was and fumbled through papers time and time again. Fortunately, my wife and I keep great records and notes because we eventually had to work on our own case and become our own advocates. We had to negotiate on our own behalf the cost of treatments and medical bills even though Ken said they would handle that (it even states that in his contract). Ken and Piedmont Injury Law still took 40% of what was awarded! Then, on top of everything else, it took Ken 6 MONTHS after he received payment (settlement) from our insurance to pay us. In no way, shape or form can I recommend Ken Crosson to anyone!!!
