He had previous review removed for lack of detail. So here are the details. A couple of years ago I made a $10,000 investment that ended up being a ponzi scheme. Company was shut down by the government and a receiver was assigned. I was told that the process could take years and I would probably get back half of my money. I brought all of this information to Mr Debranski and only asked if I could sue the local person who I actually wrote the check to. I heard that this person made over $100,000 from the scheme.His fee is $150 per hour. I gave him a $1500 retainer on my American Express. He said he would check into it and get back to me. About a week later I got an email from him regurgitating what I told him about the receiver. The email said that a receiver had been assigned and we would just have to wait. I realized quickly that he was either incompetent or just does not listen to his clients. I fired him and asked for the balance of my retainer back. He sent me $600 and billed me $900 (6 hours) for a phone call and letter to the receiver. Wow. I made a dispute with this information to American Express they agreed with me and gave me a full refund. When I initially sat down with him I explained that I had already lost a lot of money and did not want to lose more if it was a waste of time. He assured me it was not and that it was worth trying. I considered reporting him to the state board but since I ended up getting my money back I left it alone. When I saw this guys commercial and saw previous review I felt like I needed to share so others would not be ripped off by this guy. The same day he had my review removed there was a new positive review that has been removed. He states in response to D E's review that several positive reviews have been removed by Yelp.
