After a verbal interaction with the Trustee, trying to reason with her to just liquidate and lets be done, I put them back on retainer to just Contest the accounting so the nightmare would end. The Trust had declined over a million dollars in a year and blatent misuse of the Trust money by the Trustee and breach of fidicuary duty was very clear. I do not know why, but he put in the Petition requesting for compensation for one out of pocket cost. When I read it before signing it, I didn't understand why he put it in, but figured he must have had a reason. I am not an attorney and he never discussed seeking any reimbursement for out of pocket costs that would have been reimbursable to me. That should have been addressed within the first year. The court ruled on opposing counsels Petition For Summary Judgement because he requested compensation for $10k for a Generac I bought that was seen as a creditor's claim which triggered a No Contest Clause. The statue of limitations for requesting reimbursement had also expired. I didnt't go to law school, that is why I retained David Griffith. The result is he lost me my inheritence. RUN

For the purpose of protecting loved ones and keeping their anonymity, I'm not going to share the details of how Mr. Chaplin helped me, but I'm happily going to share how amazingly I was represented. I was going through the worst time in my life and had never been near a courtroom, let alone have to fight for my child in one (a parent's worst nightmare). I started my case by using the self-help department in the Butte County Courthouse to file an emergency custody order for my 2.5 year old son. I was awarded the temporary sole legal and physical custody until determination on the court order in my future hearing. I was scared, nervous and overwhelmed and knew I had to hire an attorney. I was working 3 jobs at the time and didn't have a lot of money, but I was hoping I would find someone who would care enough to give me a chance. When I thought it would be ok to speak he was rude and would cut me off telling me that I was wrong and that if its not in the law then there is nothing that could be done. This happened several times when I would try to explain more of the situation because he never listened to the entire situation. He said, "I have told you five times now to just listen to me." He had a very aggressive and agitated sound to his voice. I then said I was sorry I bothered him and that I was just trying to explain the whole situation. He got even more upset and said since I did not want to listen to him and I wasn't telling him anuthing that was a law the conversation was over and he hung up on me. When a problem arose, one of them tried to talk to him, and he was just not wonderful. Then my other colleague got a letter from Raymond about something not pleasant, and this was just the beginning. The next day or so, Raymond calls her back, and he was just not nice on the phone. He just had a cocky, arrogant, nasty tone and attitude when she was trying to explain the situation.
