Emily, the owner works alone in her small unorganized cluttered shop. She gave me a perm 6 weeks ago. It did Not take. $130.00 later, contacted her. She has put off seeing my hair. Cancelled our appointment a week ago. No Return call from Emily. She used the cheapest Perm solution possible. I've been getting perms for 30 years. Never had this happen. She should have rushed me into her shop to see this mess I've lost a lot of my long hair due to the chemical used. Now, I call her, she has my number Blocked read more

We are a Paul Mitchell Focus Salon. We use nothing but the best Paul Mitchell products from the Wash House, to the Color Bar, to the Take Home products. We offer all hair services of cuts, color and more for men, women, and kids. We also offer Tammy Taylor Nails from Acrylic Sculptured nails to amazing relaxing pedicures. It's a strange place, very small, dark and crowded with furniture and what looked like junk. Be careful there because there's lots of places to trip. There was a woman sitting in the dark corner. As we were coming in, there were sharp words and she was crying. I don't know what the three were arguing about but it was very uncomfortable. Wife's nails looked okay but she didn't like that they were too thick. Then she discovered Danie'l had given her a fungus infection that has been a mess. My hair was wonky, very short but then long and then short again. There's a silver dollar size spot that's almost down to the skin. If he had been honest and just told me he had made a mistake but he didn't say a word. Maybe we got them on a bad day but I wouldn't go back. I don't know if that little area has a separate name but it should be The Black Hole of Calcutta. If it's part of the larger salon, why is it walled off and painted black? My wife's friend already had an appointment for a haircut from Jessie and it looked good and she was happy with it.

A RESPONSE TO GINA K. Hi -- I'm Emilie, the owner. I want to clarify what happened from my side. I rescheduled your follow-up appointment multiple times at your request. Due to reasons you shared with me (not feeling well, car trouble, and other issues), These repeated reschedules extended the timeline to nearly seven weeks after the original service. During that time, I held appointment slots for you and lost income that could have been booked with other clients and services. For chemical services, I have a two-week grace period for adjustments so concerns can be addressed while the hair and curl pattern are still fresh. Despite the extended delay, I still offered to redo the perm; the only request was to cover the cost of replacement product due to the amount of time that had passed. I take my work seriously and always aim to be fair to my clients while also respecting my time and business. read more
