The Waterpark doesn't open until Memorial day since it's still off season and a bit cold. Check in and making reservations was easy and hassle free. The spot was level, had hookups for water, electricity, and a dump drain. Each spot also had its own firepit, which was really nice. It was nice that each spot also had an adjoining parking spot for a vehicle. We didn't use any showers or bathroom, so I can't comment on that. The beachside spots were a little costly at $100 a night ,but worth the splurge. Quiet hours were posted and everyone complied. Rating from F to A +++ it gets an A ++. Minus one + for being a bit costly.

Both times I was placed in the second RV park that is gravel. I was in lot 34 and 29 th first time. Last night are early AM on April 10 i was robbed of fishing equipment out of my site. I called for security, they said I should call 911 their was nothing they could do!!!!!!! They didnt even bother sending out to check on our safety, are out equipment! I stared walking around looking around for cameras asking other campers if they saw anythimg. At that time I learned that this the 3 rd event in less than a month. Also learned lot's 38, 39 and 40 are long term rentals that the Silver Slipper do not control!!,,, I don't know about anyone else but having my family 4 spots away from renters that live in a RV that looks like its on its last leg. With their friends coming and going all hours of the night, on bikes, loud music, car with busted exhaust and strangers walking in and out! I Just want the Public to know what you are in for if you stay here! I went this evening to the Casino to discus this with mangment, they said they couldnt control the the last three lots. Then they denied that their was any other incidents on their property! So before you stay here ride by see the last three campers, see if you want to vacation next to those Campers that the Sliver Slipper do not control! The owner, Dan, was super friendly and informative for first timers! We rented two boards and our girls ages 5 and 7 sat on the front of the boards. We swam and played on the lake for a few hours and enjoyed the serine atmosphere. The kids eventually got brave enough to stand up and paddle too. We would definitely return!

It's not like any other campground/RV park I've been to as most RV parks look like parking lots! I NEED TREES!! It's truly a hidden gem tucked away in the woods and only 4 miles down the road to the Waveland beach. It is sooo peaceful here. The new owners are great and extremely helpful and accommodating. There are great cleared trails my dogs absolutely love exploring, and a saltwater pool for swimming. If you are traveling to the Gulf Coast, THIS PLACE IS A MUST!

Unsure why but my wife and I love seeing chickens roaming around every day. Nice amenities here. There is a nice pool and large and clean bathroom shower facilities plus a meeting room next to the store. Fitness center has quality equipment (Precor etc). And they appear to be expanding which is great news. We both had medical emergencies which required us to add time to our stay and they were very helpful with that.
