It was probably not the best idea to go here on Memorial Day, but I did…read more I was gifted a Greg Norman golf shirt that I needed to exchange. I was already in the area so what the heck. The weather was sketchy so I didn't think it would be too crowded but that was a bad call. The parking spaces are WAY too small! Larger SUV's taking two spaces & you can't blame them. I got to the store & made the exchange & got out of there PDQ!

Review for Charlotte Premium Outlets…read more After relocating to Charlotte from the San Francisco Bay Area, I've kept my same philosophy about shopping: retail prices are optional if you're willing to do a little homework. I'm always looking for quality and value without paying unnecessary markups, and this outlet center has been a very reliable place to find both. I needed professional clothing, shoes, and luggage for work, so I made the drive out here--and I found everything I needed in one trip. One of my best purchases was a beautiful piece of luggage from Travelpro at a great price. Many of the stores also offer additional discounts if you sign up for their rewards programs, which can make the savings even better. Stores I frequent most: * Banana Republic * J.Crew * Ann Taylor * LOFT * Saks Off 5th * Old Navy (very large location with great basics) * Le Creuset -- always fun to browse, even if just window shopping If you have the time to look carefully and shop strategically, you can really find high-quality items here at excellent prices. My personal shopping strategy: * I avoid weekends whenever possible * I park near the Saks entrance, especially along the back row where it's easier to remember where you parked * I shop during off-hours for a calmer, more efficient experience Parking overall is plentiful, and the layout is easy to navigate once you learn your preferred entry point. Another thing I appreciate is the atmosphere. In my experience, the staff across stores have been knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. The overall vibe feels practical and approachable--people are there to shop, not to show off. There are also plenty of restaurants and fast-casual options nearby, so it can easily become a full outing. If you're planning a larger shopping trip, using store hold or will-call services can be a smart way to keep your purchases secure while you continue browsing. As someone who pays attention to value and cost of living, I've found shopping in North Carolina--and the Southeast in general--to be refreshingly affordable compared to the West Coast. That difference alone makes places like this especially worthwhile. Bottom line: Easy parking, strong value, and a wide selection of reliable brands. If you shop strategically and avoid peak times, this outlet center can be a very productive and enjoyable place to find quality items at fair prices.

I've been here a bunch of times so I'm surprised that it managed to miss my reviews until now. Anchored by the Target in the center, the top end has the Regal cinema that used to draw a crowd but in the post-COVID era, who knows. Michaels, Ulta, GameStop, Harris Teeter are the main tenants in the big building but there are other structures that have professional offices, sporting goods, vitamins and supplements, restaurants, bubble tea and clothing. I think there are three Starbucks locations here plus fast food Wendy's, Chick-Fil-A, Firebirds, Smashburger, Nothing but Noodles and banks. The driving routes do a good job of keeping the higher speed traffic away from the areas where people are walking, so that's a good thing. And at Christmas time, this place is a zoo. She's very uneducated, and it really shows in the tone and words of her voice. I do not think she should be so rude to employees and customers too. It's…read morepacked with food options for the nearby office workers in this huge commercial area of Ballantyne. Another Broken Egg for that morning fix. Poke Bar, Ghengis Grill and Be's Noodles and Banh Mi make good lunch options for the slave-to-the-grind. Or round out the evening with sports on a patio at Gibson or Grape & Agave, a wine and tequila place. (Porque no los dos?) There are also some services including dry cleaners, shoe repair (don't see that often), nails and hair-dos. Not to mention a few schools of art and music which I think are aimed at kids. At the far end is a AAA for the ride. Getting in and out of here can be a bit stressful. Because of the location it's best if you're headed west on Ballantyne Commons when you leave out of here. Alternatively, north on Community House will lend itself to an easy out. I'm unfortunately not usually doing either of those, so I will suffer through U-turns and fast jumps out into traffic.

This widely laid out plaza has a central parking area surrounded by two chevrons and then another small group of outbuildings. There are two main entrances to the plaza, both have traffic lights. Lots of shopping here includes an excellent Harris Teeter and Rite Aid, then a bunch of restaurants include Fox & Hound, Zapata's, Bad Daddy's, Librettos and JJ's Red Hots. Plenty of parking. A gas station on the far backside and a rather large Carolina's Health building.
