I don't really think of this as an outlet mall because the prices aren't cheaper than premium malls. However, I do like the variety of stores and in my case the only osh kosh and carter kids clothing stores in the area. There are multiple parking lots so finding a space has never been an issue. I came during thanksgiving/christmas and the decorations are very nice. They have signage for a variety of holiday events happening (pics of your dog and Santa etc). There is a food court, shake shack, and Starbucks. My kids love the small play structure. It is very small and probably only entertaining for kids 4 and younger. I appreciate the clean bathrooms inside the food court- especially the family restrooms which has a small toilet for kids. read more

Most are the regular shops like NIKE, OLD NAVY, GUESS etc. We were there 7pm so I really didn't see any cleaning crew or customer service staff. Always a great experience when I come here. Weekends are very busy, so alot time for parking. They have all the normal outlet stores, coach, Michael Kors, Guess, Tommy Hilfigure, etc. Everyone is super pleasant and efficient. You don't have to wait in lines anymore to go into certain stores, which is great! They have a food court and a wine slushie store, which Is a must visit during the summer. Service is a thing and 9 out of 10 stores we walked into we were greeted, not literally 10 stores, but you know what I mean. Every store, except for the converse store. However, Lids was the winner, cause these guys were on point with the customer service. This native Californian Yankees fan was quite surprised by their Yankee hat selection, especially because for the past umpteen years, I have only purchased the classic blue and white one. Not this time, I opted for a lavender and black Yankee Stadium 75 year, and a black with royal blue Subway Series edition.. What can I say, but, these Lids are on fire! The value is invaluable. I've been to the CLT Premium Outlets a handful of times and the experience has been just the same as most others for me - a good one. There is a vast variety of stores at this location, allowing you to find really good deals. The location was clean as we walked to some of the stores. Parking is far from an issue, as the lot is huge - all around the outlet, allowing you to access stores from many points. It was a cold, windy day and at that point, we wished for this to be an inside Premium Outlet location. But such is life because it's not! LOL! I like this outlet although when I vivid it can be hit or miss. Some of my favorite stores have spaces here, so when I feel like taking a drive it helps when I come out with bags. The selection of clothing, shoes and accessories is pretty good and it's conveniently off 485. It's nice when they have food trucks outside so you can eat before or while shopping. Today Cuzco's cuisine was there and if I hadn't already had lunch I would have definitely indulged. Prices are reasonable and I'm glad they've been able to survive the pandemic. read more

I come to this outlet every time i come from Florida to visit my daughter. The outlets have all the big stores and not to crowded. The premises are always clean. The only complaint i have and noticed is that the bathroom always stinks. I have been here probably 4 times and every time it smells horrible. The only thing accurate about the name here is Charlotte. These aren't really Premium and the term Outlet is used loosely. I think Outlets these days are just stores staged as outlets. Outlets used to be where companies sold excess, discontinued, or damaged goods. Need two left shoes? Outlet mall. One leg longer than the other? Outlet mall. Just call this an outdoor mall and call it a day. If you look at this as an outdoor shopping mall, it's decent. It's not overly large as you can walk the circle pretty rapidly. There's a food court, some specialty stores, the Nike "Outlet" which usually exists at these types of places. There were also normal mall staples like Hot Topic and Perfumania. Maybe the only "Premium" store was Saks off 5th, but it felt like I was in a Ross Dress for Less rather than what Saks is probably trying to present. I only stopped here as I had time to kill before heading to the airport from south of the city. I was past the major traffic so didn't have to worry about getting back to the airport when I was done buying top notch clothing and accessories on the cheap (not really). read more

Great Shopping Experience! I have been to these outlets a few times now and I am beginning to build a habit, lol! I love how they are managed and the look and feel of them. I like how the opening to the stores are all on the inside. In the colder months like now, it blocks a lot of the wind. Most stores "require masks" for entrance, but the only store that I have constantly seen enforce it is the Polo store. If you enter without one, they provide you with a mask and you are expected to wear it. I have noticed that most stores have security or police that are present. This is a smaller outdoor outlet mall with a few of the popular name brand stores. Parking is plentiful. Access to I-485, 85 and convenient to I-77. I went to Sak's 5th Ave, Cole Hahn, Adidas, Clark's then Nike before heading to the restroom. I was pleasantly surprised to see such a nice and clean lactation room for nursing mothers inside the women's restroom. It's very comfortable and accommodating even with re lining rockers and ottomans and also a flat screen tv on the wall. This mall is more popular during the summer months but still a thriving area where people are moving to daily that's growing tremendously! read more

Enjoyed a day at the Premium outlets with my niece. Plenty of shops to choose from. The sales in most store were better than in the regular store. I found that they not only have the current products, they have those rare finds you may have wanted but didn't but in time before they were gone. All the stores have outside entries so its not your traditional mall. There is a market area where you can buy fast food, and a Starbucks in a kiosk between the shops. The entire area is very clean and well maintained. I would definitely get a map of the stores especially if you are shopping for something specific. We tended to waste a lot of time looking for a shop because we didn't take the time to check the map. Enjoy! read more

Came here to do some retail shopping on this beautiful sunny day. There were plenty of food trucks and various vendors that were scattered outside of the stores. Since this location is outdoors , there wasn't a lot of shade for customers to hide from the sun, so I would recommend to bring some shades or a hat when you are walking outside. After looking in several shoes stores, I was able to find a pair of gold heels from Steve Madden and they were 50% off . This was a great buy and the shoes are very comfortable to walk in. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating to my needs. Also Aldo and Rack Room Shoes were right next door as well so you can easily see all of the selections without walking the entire strip. read more

Now this place is legit, the variety in stores (Marketplace is still a BUST) & Thank God for 37 Sol which is across the lot as the food is legit and worth going to once done shopping or before. The customer service received in the Marketplace is so good these days. The staff seem to genuinely care and is all about assisting with suggestions and insight on all the questions I had upon my reunion with the outlets. I also appreciate the covered sections for those rainy days which has happened often at least our last 3 visits. We now enjoy the outlets for the most part. read more

I understand the nation is in a pandemic, and lots of people are out of work at this time. However, if the mall opens back up and ground workers are working, you would think the ground would be taken care of. It looks horrible out here, and this is the third time I've been out here in the last week, and no changes have been made. Trash overflowing, grass not cut, but we're all supposed to practice "healthy shopping guidelines," yet the health status of this mall would make people catch all kinds of germs outside of Covid-19. I'm just saying, and something must be done! To add to this I just came out of the restroom in the food court because theirs disgusting feces everyone. What a great outdoor mall. We came upon this outlet mall in Charolette. It was a nice change of pace. The outdoor mall allowed us to walk casually and go into some really fun stores. Of course, the prices were so great that I had to buy a bunch of stuff. Most of it I didn't need. But hey the deals were great! Can't pass up a great deal! The mall itself is beautiful. Clean. Well managed. Dogs are allowed! Not sure if they can go in the stores though. They have an indoor food court. This sort of surprised me. It was a nice mall, why not add some restaurants? A food court? We had fun being goofy and trying stuff on. If we are back in the area I would definitely return. read more

I checked out Charlotte Premium Outlets towards the end of my visit to Charlotte. I actually noticed the place hours after I had set foot in the city. I was headed to TGI Fridays and noticed the stores. I didn't need to do any shopping. I had got my fix over the course of the week. However, I wanted to do some browsing. I liked Old Navy. I didn't need any clothes, but they had cool styles and decent prices. It was pretty warm for a March day. I ended up not wearing a jacket. I sat on a bench and basked in the sunshine for a while. If you do need to charge your cell phone or tablet, there are charging stations around the outlet for you to use. You can pick up a cable at customer service if you need one. I did enjoy shopping at the Beef Jerky Outlet. It was my first time getting jerky at an outlet mall. You need to ask for free samples, as they aren't out in the open. Perhaps when I am back and have huge need to shop, I will do more damage here. However, I enjoyed window shopping at this outlet and am surprised that I had that much self-control! (149) read more

This premium outlet is a bit out of the way but that's just premium outlet marketing for you! I love the spacious parking lot surrounding the outlet. There's plenty of parking to go around unless you prefer to park really close to the stores. I recommend typing in the address to the outlet. If you type in the store, the address loops you over to the backside entrance of the store. There are a good variety of stores all around. All of the stores seems to be active and thriving. Just like every other outlets, expect traffic and lots of people. I do have to say that it was easy to get out of the parking lot. There are a lot of different roads you can take out of the shopping center. Thats a plus! Overall, really cool spot if you're looking to get some shopping done. Clean and organized! read more

Nice outlets! I came here since I was in the area and I am a stickler for great bargains and I have to say I really liked these outlets! They had many stores that I was surprised to see such as "Coach", "Michael Kors" and "Express". To be honest, they had many of the stores that I shop at and I was able to get some fairly decent deals. Additionally, this premium outlet was very spacious and about the average size of every other outlet that I've been too. Since I came here during the week, it wasn't too crowded. I walked all around and even went in "Saks 5th Avenue" which was also nice by the way. As far as parking, there was plenty of parking in the area and I was able to park right in the front and walk right in. There is also a food court that had several different restaurants to choose from however "Nathan's" wasn't all that great and I didn't finish my food (this is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5). Overall, really nice outlets- not bad and I would definitely come back! Ps- if you check in on Yelp, then you get a free offer for a "Passbook" (I believe that is what you call it). It's a coupon book you pick up from customer service. Initially I thought it was corny- until I used some of the coupons in the stores I went in and received an extra savings- go figure! read more

I've been to this outlet mall twice now. On the upside, this is one of the nicer (if not the nicest?) in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. It looks clean; and the layout is pretty good...with great maps and directories to help you along. However, to be honest, I've never been a fan of this, or any other outlet. Though I have splurged on bargains in the past, the items found in this and other outlets I've ever been to is pretty much as expected...leftovers from retail stores. In short, not the shiniest or the snazziest finds...but usually dull, generic surplus items. Just yesterday, I checked out CHICO'S at this outlet, and the items in the store were nearly dreadful...as in Ugly. The worst selection I've ever seen from the Chicos' inventory...clearly the unwanted items. The service there was just as awful. Basically, the reps were fairly snippy in their greeting, and rather rude in their demeanor towards me. Almost made me not ever want to go to the real Chico's, even at South Park location. Actually, I did find (and try on) this semi-cute, yet flimsy, kimono wrap at LUCKY...but way overpriced ($59), even with their so-called 30% Off Special. I can find the same item for much less at the mall; and most definitely at places like ebay and Amazon. I will say, however, that every once in a while, you may "get lucky" and find something in these stores that may be super-cute. Still, from my little experience from outlets (which may be less than a dozen times in my whole life?), the selection that I've seen have been mostly dull. Sometimes, it's really not that big of a bargain either. Personally, I feel that you'll find much cuter items at a bargain from the malls near the end of each season...or sometimes, at random times. Despite the bad rap for high prices at malls, they do feature great, big sales...and often! Also, the stores themselves are MUCH cuter...but of course, that's a no brainer. I wasn't even inspired to take any pics of any stores while there. On the more positive side, if you're looking to buy a designer watch or a bag for a bit less, outlet malls are a good idea (if you don't care to do a major search online for designer bargains, that is). Options are limited, and the items are dated, of course, but you're sure to find a steal of a deal. SO...although I think this is better than most in the Charlotte and surrounding areas, it's still an outlet mall. Maybe I'm spoiled and/or picky, but again, am just not a fan of outlets. These outlets are fantastic! They are outdoors, yet covered in case of rain. They have beautiful fountains, and fire pits with sitting areas for spouses to take breaks from shopping. They also have a dinning area with multiple options for lunch/dinner. The stores are clean, great deals. The staff was all kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Parking was easy, and accessible + lots of it! All stores are ADA accessible. I will definitely be coming back, I really enjoyed shopping here. read more

The stores and brands here are amazing and have deals and buys you just cannot get online or in traditional malls, even with amazon around and specialty boutiques easily accessible. Despite being called an outlet, unfortunately, there seems to be the traditional retail cadence in play where sometimes you come everything is on sale and hot and other times things are overpriced and there isn't a great selection to choose from. Even then, every time I come here, I am thrilled with what I find and I love my purchases for years and years to come. Still, I rarely come here. I have limited time and I am already tempted by ads online to overspend beyond what I need. What will pull me in to also devote my time to spend a day among crowds when there are no activities for kids, no great food options, no movie theater, no playground onsite, etc. With how busy families are these days, we need multi-purpose spaces with reasons to come (such as Kingsley that has a swim school and coldstone just steps apart, a greenway and a strawberry festival down the street, and a grocery store around the corner) read more

I visited the outlets 8/21; this past weekend with family and we were able to get majority of our back to school shopping completed. The pros: great sales in some of the stores, with a large selection of familiar brands. Many of restroom available for the large crowds of shoppers which I was very appreciative about! The restrooms were clean as well. Absolutely a great set of staff in the coach store. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. I also want to spotlight the staff members in the famous footwear, Tommy Hilfiger, as well for being so friendly and professional. The Aunt Annie's was delicious and the staff was very nice. I think the supervisor should be spotlighted for her professional while dealing with a few customers that were not so nice to her. She still maintained her professionalism and continued to do her job. The cons: Many of the stores just had staff standing around but no one was asking anyone if they need assistance or even a hello or smile when walking in ("Bath & Body Works" & "Lids" are a perfect example.) Bath & Body Works: Absolutely no hello, no help on the sales floor to assist with questions, but there was 5 people behind the registers. So that was not a good experience and I will not go back into that store for sure. Although these outlets sell similar brands as many of other outlets this mall just isn't one I need to revisit. I feel that it was a nice experience but also dealing with the energy of rude staff throughout some of the shops just left a bad taste in my mouth. Also the sales were decent but not great!! I found some better prices in a nearby traditional mall; and also prefer to shop where customer service is still a top priority and valued. Maybe the experience would be better on a weekday or time where there is less of a crowd and staff have more time to engage or be of assistance. However I traveled really far to experience these outlets and I am just left feeling like "okay I seen what they have to offer but I could also find these items and better service in another mall location." read more

Located in itself, at Charlotte Premium Outlet, this outlet sports a plethora of outlet stores with lots of great discounts. They keep their outside spotless and clean. There are often lots of vendors and organizations selling stuff outside of their store. I might as well open a store up myself here (if I could pay their monthly lease). Overall, great experience. Quick tip: if you check into Charlotte Premium Outlets on Yelp, you're eligible to redeem a "Savings Passport" at their customer service desk in the food court; this will allow you have even further savings (ex. 20% off in the Under Armour store, 10% in Michael Kors, etc). I have been to a couple of these "Premium Outlet" locations and they're pretty much the same here in Charlotte as they are in Gaffney SC, San Marcos TX, Lebanon TN and Williamsburg VA. It's an outdoor shopping mall with some cover in some places but mostly exposed to the elements. Same shops here as in others, too. Because this one is still new, it's very busy even on a weekday. And therefore it is a good thing that they have an ocean of parking as my walk from the space I was able to find to the retail was a pretty good walk. read more

When looking for something comfy or workout clothes I visit this outlet. Main stores I visit is Nike, Reebok, Kate spade, Old Navy, Saks and of course the Uniform store. But every-time I go I visit another store. I also enjoy Lids they do customizing for your hats. I would say it's always best around holidays they have great sales! The atmosphere is light and vibrant you can shop and enjoy the outside breeze with family. I would say many stores don't really have anything super great, which is a problem I face at malls as well.
