It's conveniently located right by a car wash, so they could get great business if they would change their attitudes. I have never ordered their chicken but a friend of mine has and he stated the chicken can be a hit or miss. Come on guys! Their gas is normally around the prices as the other locations in the area so you can definitely make a chose to go to WawA right across the street. The particular day I stopped here and took a picture of the toilet, that was a final straw for me. So not only are the employees not always the friendliest, but they seem not to care about cleaning up either. Yes, I give slack to them simply because I wouldn't want to clean up someone else's poop....but when you have certain jobs it comes with descriptions and we have to abide by those. When I mentioned that it was like that I just received a umm ok as a response. Well I guess it will be there for a while. Hope this location can get it together, because you guys have so much you can offer but you are cutting yourself short.

Last 3 times I've went there I've spent 10-15 minutes checking out because of self check out freezing and / or taking a service member forever to check me out manually and get me out the door . it's always an inconvenience going here. It's supposed to be a convenience store and get me in and out.Will not be returning if humanly possible . The service members are friendly, but not in a hurry to get you in and out.

It was super well stocked and every single hot food item for sale was visibly fresh. There was not one lonely, shriveled up hot dog, the pizza and the cheese were fresh and melty and not dried out. The chicken wings look like they were fresh out of the oven as well. I was super impressed. I never leave reviews, but I needed to go out of my way to do this one for an exceptional business. Vanessa, the woman at the counter was also very polite and informative on the deals I could have based on what I was already buying. 500 stars well done!

There's not much for me to write about this location other than it's pretty average. It is at a…read moreintersection so it makes it a nice location to stop and get a drink or to pump some gas. I normally only go during the day if I am passing by and the gas is cheap or when they have the free slurpee day. During the evening hours or during the summer you see a good amount of younger children/young adults crowding around. The staff have seem pleasant the times I have went in. During the Free slurpee event a few year back they were a bit irritated since so many people were trying to take more than one per person. If you are stopping here there are several other places on each direction of this location you can stop at for food, Ive cream or even stop at tractor supply and get you something something. There are also a few hotels close by as well so you could walk here as well.

Please take a second and have someone clean them...I am guessing the employees do not use these because if they do I have no idea how!! Beware of the snacks sometimes because we have ran across some being expired, even found a soda that was expired so be careful. The only thing I believe that has been upgraded since the last time I was here are the pumps. They have very colorful pumps that are very appealing. Do you need a car wash...??? If your answer is yes please don't waste your money to use this one. It's beyond terrible. Drive a little further if you want an automatic wash to the new royal farms that is across from Walmart on route 40. This location does carry cigarettes, snacks and lottery tickets but honestly they will Likely not catch me at their store anymore. One last tip is be careful when you are looking at the prices on the sign. The signage that you seen posted on is normally the price just for cash...the small sign on the ground is the price for credit which is about 10 cents more than the royal farms right across the street.

I freaked out for a second when I put in my credit card and it said "loyalty declined"- he explained that it just meant the Shell rewards weren't on my card . Gotcha . We had a goos laugh . I saw the Shell sign from the road, and needed to fill up as I had waited to cash in on .70 off per gallon with my Giant rewards; thinking this would be a great stop for 17 gallons or so and something to drink, I pulled in and thought "WTF, $3.89 a gallon??!!". Having already entered my Giant card number, it was too late, so I got just a couple of gallons and then filled up at a Sunoco at the last Chesapeake House area on 95 for $1.00 less (and picked up a Diet Coke that was probably half of what they were charging). Maybe they make $$ off the people staying at the Country Inn next door who need snacks, but there is no way anyone local is dropping a lot of cash on gas here. Top Secret hint to the owner: don't tell a lot of people this, but you will sell more if you don't price gouge (your competition seems to already know this).
