It was Sunday morning around 9:30 and the place was full of people. With only one register open (wow!) the line quickly became 10 deep, literally. The cashier was slow, and to add insult to injury everyone except me is buying smokes. When the line whittled down to where I was sixth in line, on the opposite side of the cashier corral, a new cashier calls out, "Open here!" And he laughed. Like mice, there was an immediate scurry of those closest to the other side. Of course there was a register on the same side that would have been more appropriate and appreciated.

There's a really strange vibe with that crew and you can see it influencing the general atmosphere of the entire store.
