Watching the game on tv, I would hear the commentator mentioning local promotions for basketball fans in Philadelphia cheering for missed free throws, translating to free fried chicken. Well, New York fans received the offer of free cheesesteaks. I don't dare call these "Philly" cheesesteaks. We hear enough claims of New York Pizza coming from some unlikely places. The lines were long but moved along briskly once the doors opened today at 11am. It has been decades since I last had a cheesesteak while in Philly.
