This Wawa got the job done. We needed a bathroom and some drinks before hitting the road to get back to our Airbnb in Pennsylvania. The bathrooms were clean and had multiple stalls making for an efficient experience. They had some deals on water bottles which made everything a bit easier. I would have liked to get gas while here, but I wasn't quite sure how the gassing process works in New Jersey as pumping laws differ in Arizona (where I am visiting from) and we were already running a bit low on time. read more

Gotta have my Wawa! I mean who doesn't, right? Ok, so maybe not everyone is drinking the Wawa Kool Aid and I respect that, but here are some of my top reasons why I gotta have my Wawa. The staff is always super friendly...both inside and out! Even during the coldest and hottest days of the year the gas attendants always greet me with a smile and are quick and efficient. You've tried the hoagie sandwiches, right? If not, you're in for a treat...they're fresh, delicious and albeit not what you'd typically expect from a gas station market but they're pretty darn good! Beyond the hoagies, there are so many other items to choose from that are prepared fresh and daily...soups, salads, wraps, quesadillas, a variety of snacks (healthy as well) and a bunch of other items including a great breakfast menu (all of which are very affordable). Coffee? Did I mention the coffee? They have their own brand and you can choose from a variety a Wawa brews which includes leaded (caffeine) and unleaded (caffein free). If you don't want to make a trip to the grocery store for the "staples" then hit up your local Wawa. Chances are it's closer and they've got fresh eggs, milk, ice cream, etc. So what's the most the special thing about Wawa? Well, for starters you can't find one just anywhere. My friends who grew up in Jersey and moved still long for their Wawa. Great Wawa! Got gas on the way home from stone harbor,they are polite and courteous, bathrooms are nice and clean too. Food to order is quick and correct. Beware of the a$$hole customers who "make their own" parking spots, although there is a plethora of parking. One customer though it was a great idea to park in the lane leading OUT OF THE STORE. Guess the rules don't apply to them?! Then again, this is NJ, highest instance rates ever. No wonder. Love my Wawa! Can't wait to sport my 2017 hoagie fest shirt, they sell out fast and no wonder, they're 11.99 -any size! Holy busy! Be careful heading in and out of this Wawa. Since it's right off 55 and situated between Mullica Hill and Glassboro, it's generally always mobbed with cars filling up, plus a diverse crowd of college kids, commuters and locals. Staff is always friendly and efficient. Despite typical lines at the pumps, you shouldn't have to wait all too long. The parking lot is pretty spacious also, which is ideal at such a happening hub. Oh, and their bathrooms are clean -- although the doors are kinda weird. There are actually three stalls in the ladies room, believe it or not. I was not the only one confused! This is definitely one of my preferred Wawa locations in SJ. Convenient and well-stocked, albeit packed! read more

Nothing is better than a Wawa tuna hoagie a few hours after getting off the red eye from the West Coast. With pickles. Yummmmm! Employee named "Inna" was behind the deli tonight. She told me they were out of the Mac n cheese I ordered. No problem I understand places run out of things. I asked how long could I wait for them to make more, her response was "frozen" and said with such a bad attitude. She was hinting to me the Mac n cheese would be awhile because it was frozen. Get double meat on your hoagies. And that's what a real wawa hoagie used to be like. They are getting bigger and bigger. But giving you less and less. Now they don't even want to give receipts or bags for your purchases. Claiming to be green. But we know it's to save money. Their focus is not the customer since 2000.their focus is getting as much money from you as possible. I guess selling lunchmeat didn't post a good enough profit so they stopped selling it. I was debating about writing a review or letting it go but I'm still bothered by it and figured I should just get it off my chest. About two weeks ago I stopped by wawa for a sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and a few other things before work. Once I got to work, about 10 minutes away, I began eating my sandwich and noticed half way through a black piece between the bottom bread and sausage patty. When I pulled the bread down I realized it was a fly that was cooked in the sandwich! YUCK!!!!! After puking my insides out and calming down, I called wawa and spoke to the assistant manager (forgot her name, sorry) about what just occurred. She expressed her regret and apologized multiple times and after a brief hold to speak to the general manager I was told that they would offer me freshly made sandwich (I declined), a refund and a $ 5 gift card. I told her I would be there soon and she said to ask for Jen the general manager. When I walked inside Wawa, I walked into Jen and told her who I was and gave her my sandwich. She was very short with me and seemed rather annoyed or did not want to be bothered and repeated several times that it wasn't her that I had spoken too but the assistant manager on the phone. I have no idea why she said that, nor repeated it and it made no sense because I was told that she would be expecting me nonetheless. It's hoagiefest but this wawa isn't serving the Gobbler- my favorite sandwich to get here. Last summer they served it all throughout hoagiefest and I must've bought one every other day. They also don't stock the cookies and cream wawa milk nor the vanilla flavored wawa milk. At night there's usually this younger girl there at the checkout counter she's kinda funky but always friendly and helpful! The gas attendants here are always nice and prompt. Would be 5/5 if it weren't for the milk and gobbler. read more
