This WaWa is conveniently located on the Northeast corner of Congress Ave and Lake Worth Road. Easy Ingress and Egress to the fuel pumps which are well maintained. The gas prices are competitive for the area. Usually I do go inside for a snack or beverage purchase of some type. read more

For someone who travels more than the average person for my job, I am constantly on the road and looking for places to eat in the Southern half of the State of Florida. And get gas as well. Gas is competitively cheap, but I have been able to expense gas for 20+ years so I really never pay too much attention to cost- but it's competitive to Costco I hear and Racetrack for sure. I can kill two birds with one stone at Wawa. Actually 3 birds w/ one stone- gas, bathroom break, and fresh prepared quality food/drink. I never really heard of Wawa living in South Beach for 7+ years, and as an Upstate NY transplant. We did not have Wawa in Upstate New York that I ever saw, or Western Mass or Northern Connecticut when I was driving 35,000+ miles a year. I've only recently discovered these Wawa's as they are expanding rapidly in South Florida. New stations, clean bathrooms, staffed very very well, and free air for tires makes this my Go-to gas station. I had read online about the cult following of thier submarine sandwiches from this Philly based gas station. I tried one last year for the first time and I am hooked like crazy. This is a high quality made to order restaurant and mini market with a gas station attached lol. Thier sub sandwiches are better than subway by a mile. A 10 inch loaded sub is $7.50!! I don't get how they make money honestly, w/ 2-3x the meat of Subway or the other sub shops (maybe Jersey Mike's is an exception- but they don't have gas and a killer selection of market items, fresh made ice cream Sundays, etc. This place has everything. It's epic. I have such a huge crush on this place. I just found out they deliver food within a general vicinity- my place included. I going to be in trouble with my waistline lol. Wawa is our safest best bet for competitively priced gas after Costco. I enjoy running into the store when we stop here to grab and go before a trip. This was my first time purchasing coffee here, but it was fun! They have a smart, orderly station of coffee fixings: everything your heart could desire to stuff into a coffee! I was thrilled to find full versions of milks, half and half, creamers, etc, in an iced bin in the middle of the station. So clever! I hate when I have to open a ton of those tiny creamer cups to make a coffee milky the way I enjoy it, and I always wonder how long something in a carafe has been sitting at room temperature. I had to look around, like... am I really allowed to pour as much as I want?! Apparently, yes! read more

I was in Palm Springs and decided to stop here for a moment. Like most Wawa, gas prices were good. Plus if you have their credit card, you save further each time. The weather was hot, I decided to go inside to get a smoothie. The flavor I ordered was mango/peach without yogurt. The order came fairly quickly. The drink tasted great. The employees at this location are great. However they have a huge issue. I do hope they address the issue of panhandlers. I was with Sam M at the time when I went to this Wawa location, but if I was alone I would feel unsafe trying to put gas in my car and someone trying to ask for money so close to my car. It makes me think of bad what if scenarios. I asked an employee about the situation, she said this location has a huge problem and cops haven't been able to do anything about it. Most likely I won't be coming back to this location because I want to feel safe.~ read more

This is a partial review as I didn't get anything to eat here. We did get gas and the prices were quite good compared to the other gas stations on the competing four corners. They were packed on a Saturday night with tables outside fairly full and people lined up at the gas pumps outside and inside at the ordering computer stations. People are waiting for their food as well. We walked through the conveniences store to see what they had. Actually I was hoping for desert. They had a separate case of donuts and muffins but nothing looked appealing to me. As well as some shelves of packaged goods. And usual convenience store stuff. I'm sure we will be back when they are not so new and so crazy busy. read more

South Florida's first Wawa; I'm in heaven. I'm originally from the Philadelphia area, and for those of you who don't know, Wawa is really a godsend to South Florida. Wawa's nowadays are all super Wawa's; they all have gas stations, massive hoagie building areas, and a lot of food options in the store. I came on the opening day of the first Wawa in South Florida; around 2pm on Thursday, and it was crowded. Regular gas was $1.99 on opening day; just for frame of reference, every other gas station in the area was at least $2.34 or higher. Every worker in the store was extremely helpful, and wanting to really make repeat customers for life. For the grand opening 10 days, it's free coffee, any size for anyone. We asked a worker lady about it, and her response was, "take whatever you'd like". Another woman explained to us that at the moment, they aren't having Wawa milk in the stores because they need to open more stores before they can officially get a dairy farm in the area. I was even impressed by the behind the scenes workers; even though the place was packed with tons of people ordering food, our order came out really quickly. Now granted, a lot of the people were brought in from out of town just for the opening days, but still, they did a great job of making a first impression. There are so many great things to get here, but topping the list for me is their coffee and hoagies. Sure, the coffee was free on opening day, but even normal prices aren't expensive, and it tastes amazing, hot, and fresh. Hoagies here are ordered at an electronic station, and made quickly in the area, which is front and the centerpiece of the store. So many choices from hot and cold hoagies, to soups, and sandwiches, quesadillas, and specialty drinks, and so much more. Personal recommendations are the meatball hoagie, and the turkey club sandwich; both are delicious. Despite the crowds, lines, and tons of orders; the food we ordered came out fast, and everything was correct. Parking was a bit of a pain; but again, it was opening day, so on a regular day with less crowds, I have to imagine parking will be plentiful. Other then that, my opening day experience was fantastic; the service was on point, food is a rival to any sub/hoagie in the area, and gas is really competitively inexpensive. I know Wawa plans on opening many more stores in the South Florida area, and if they all open they way this particular location opened; they are doing it right. read more

When Wawa opened in my area, I was so excited as I grew up in the Philadelphia area and missed Wawa. Recently, I've been disappointed at the slow service when ordering hoagies or paying at the cashier. On a recent Saturday evening, only 1 cashier and 2 cafe/deli clerks were on duty. They were doing the best they could but were overwhelmed by the volume of customers. The drink station was sticky and some cups/lids were empty. The floor was filthy and rest rooms were gross. I love you, Wawa but you need to get back to the same level of customer service and cleanliness you had when Wawa first opened here in Palm Beach County. read more

On any given day I will tell you how much I love Wawa. And I'll also tell you how much you should love Wawa too. Haven't been there? Then I'll tell you that you'll have to go. You must I'll say. So it's hard when you have so much faith and love for a place and it sort of let's you do. Since I travel for work I find myself in the WPB area often. Finding out that there was a Wawa here was like a little note from God. I have been coming here a few times of the past few weeks and have yet to truly experience what I have i mother Wawa's. The one thing for sure that is the same: the Wawa is clean. Nothing dirty or gas station feeling about this place. The big issue here is the food. Every time I've gone I've heard of people complaining about their order status and order being wrong. My last trip I only got half of my order. Finally after asking I was able to get it completed. Both were made incorrectly and I didn't realize until it was too late. The pickup area is always organized chaos where people pick up the wrong order, orders are just sitting there and people are hovering over the station impatiently waiting for their meal/drink. The food itself tastes good- even if it wasn't exactly what I ordered. It's hot, fresh tasting and reasonably priced. I'll keep coming back because I'm a little brand loyal, but as far as terms of Wawa quality, this location has some changes to make. read more

Hate this WAWA!! They never get my food order right!! Literally ask for extra ingredients and they always manage to mess it up! Seriously how hard it is to get and order that it's being typed for them!! Is not the first time is been a few. The only reason I got there is because is near my house!! This is the first Wawa I have ever been to and the store itself was just constructed and I visted during the grand opening. Wawa is basically just a typical gas-station/convenience-store, but with an emphasis on fresh-made food. The gas prices are the lowest in the area by about 30-40 cents per gallon, but all the pre-packaged name-brand snacks and drinks were normal high price. I did see good deal on 40+ oz soda pop refills for $0.89. They were giving out free coffee and smoothies and those were both very tasty. Few tips for noobs like me: -The creamer and milk for the coffee is hidden on the inside tub of the coffee condiment cart in center of isle. -You order food from their kitchen on the touchscreen computers. Be careful the menu's did not match their daily menu. You can pay for your food before they call your name, just show your food printout. -There are picnic tables, but they are outside on the West end of the building in the direct late afternoon sun. Kinda tragic design flaw because there is a ton of shaded space on the east side of the building. Be prepared to eat in your car or somewhere else. -We liked the ham & cheese 10" hot hoagie. The meat was stacked thick, but it was a little small. The wife and I shared it and we were both wishing there was more to eat. I asked an employee and he said the chicken Parmesan and cheesesteak were his favorites. -The automatic flushing toilets can scare small children. read more

Went here around noon time on a Saturday. Still crowded after couple of weeks from grand opening. Several helpful friendly staff standing by close to monitors where you place orders. Great tasting subs. Plenty of coffees, sugars, and creamers to choose from. You can also order specialty coffees and smoothies as well. Will definitely come back here again. read more

Air pumps never work. Gas pumps always broke. I don't understand why they never can fix this

So decided to stop here for some gas and my girlfriend wanted a hot chocolate since it was cold out. Gas station was fine, price was competitive with the other gas stations in the area. It was well lit and everything worked fine, although I believe this is a pretty new station. Inside was fine, my girlfriend said it was dirty, I didn't really notice. We are so happy that a Wawa was finally opened closer to our home. Gas prices are always reasonable here. The kiosk to self order your sandwiches are great and lots of fun to use. The whole ordering system is so efficient. I especially enjoy the new sourdough sandwiches.i am not a coffee drinker, but there is a wide selection of coffees. The white chocolate during the winter months is great. Another recent addition to the menu is salad. It is nice to see more and more fast food restaurants become healthier. At lunchtime on a Sunday, I joined an existing group of a dozen people waiting on their hoagies. In the 15 minutes before I gave up and got a refund, only one sandwich was made. Now I see why its always packed in Wawa. The gas prices are cheaper that some other gas stations nearby. I went inside to check out the food selection and prices. I got the Jr sub and soup deal for $5 and a mango smoothie for $2.00. The sub and soup is a small portion compared to other venues, but it was perfect for me. They both were delicious, no complaints. So after all the ranting and raving as to how "great" their sandwiches were, I decided to finally be a sheep and follow in suit...much to my disappointment. First time there, you're not sure what the process is, I see a screen and punch in my order, deciding to go with the spinach fontina cheese panini. Then after standing in line for order pickup, I realize I need to pay at the register first. After paying, I head back over to the counter, where there's another customer waiting as well. She calls out my number, slides my sandwich along the counter. The customer and I both gasp as it stops short of falling off the counter. Honestly nothing to write home about. Ok, I'm impressed. This was my first time at a Wawa, ever. Don't fault me on being from the south. This is a pretty cool gas station. They have free coffee (any size) for the first week they are open. I like how they have so many choices too, there's even Silk Soy Milk available. Gas is also super cheap right now ($2.17/ gallon). Stopped in on a Saturday night after a regional marching band competition. It was late; but, we had coupons for free drinks and Wawa and went miles out of our way to fill-up before leaving for home. Gas was okay; the printer was out of ink, so I went in for a receipt. And, my wife and I still wanted something for the drive home. I had my heart set on the Cinnamon Churro Coffee, which I mix with Decaf; but, it was out, so I opted for Pumpkin Spice. The coffee station was a mess, with supplies strewn about and cream and coffee spilled on the counters. Nearly half of the coffee canisters were empty and removed. The staff was whistling tunelessly, singing and talking to each other, while patrons lined up for their food. Check-out was okay; and, so was my wife's fountain drink. At least the beverages were free... small consolation. read more

This is the only gas station I have ever seen that supplies ethanol-free gasoline; even though it cost as much is premium fuel it's well worth the price. I would have given five stars to this Wawa, however, the lack of service at the sandwich station was definitely a disappointment. I waited over 10 minutes for my order and was told several times "it's almost ready"; I ended up leaving before my order was complete because of the length of time I waited. read more

Really simple issue turned into a nightmare. Bought some drinks, paid with a $20, wanted the change on my gas pump. Pump 3. Real simple. Walked out there, tried pumping gas, got nothing. Ok. Maybe they need a minute. Waited a little, still nothing, pressed the call button. Received no response. Watched them stand by the register without a line, too busy to answer me I guess. I walked back in to let Brittany know that I never received my gas... and was told that it was already pumped, and that I must've given the wrong pump number. Proceeds to contradict herself, print out the receipt, and say "it says it's already been pumped at pump 3." I informed her that I tried calling via the pump, and at that point she dismissed it with an attitude, NEVER acknowledged the attempted calls and reluctantly placed the money on there correctly. Bro I just wanted gas. Not an attitude from your employee. I get it, working is hard. I just finished a long shift and didn't come here to be treated like that.. did you want a picture of my empty tank? Or to go back on your camera to see that I never got any gas from my pump? Is that what I'd have to sit through to get my gas corrected without an attitude? Staff is usually great but I'm not coming back when she's on shift. Do better. read more

I've been anxiously anticipating the opening of a Wawa close to me for a while. This one is about a 20 minute drive. I've gone up every weekend since they opened to get my hoagie fix. Not to mention to cash in on the rewards I got by using the app on my phone. Heaven! Also tried the Mac n' cheese last time, pretty good. My favorite donuts are the salted caramel and red velvet which has real cream cheese frosting, yum! Even though it's been crazy busy we've never had an issue parking or waiting in line, it moves super quick. Can't forget to mention the hot pretzels they have right by the registers, the cheesy jalapeño is my favorite. I went back hoping for a better experience. As a former Philadephian, I had to try their "cheesesteak". Especially after another person here wrote a poem about them! Reality: They are just slightly better than frozen Steak-umms. (Maybe) No sauteed onions available this visit. Simply unthinkable! Won't order again. I have also noticed that if you order a cold hoagie, the nice roll looks like it deflated by the next day when you were planning to bring it to work. Are they pumped full of air? Odd because when fresh they are pleasantly chewy. I checked out the walk in "beer cooler room". No deals here. Prices on par with 7/11. Fail. I went there and loved the environment and they have so much variety, they have a lot of healthy stuff like saladas, celery snacks, etc.. the only think is that I ordered a rice and beans burrito(vegetarian) and it really didn't taste like anything. I love WAWA globally but this homeless situation is a filthy nightmare. How can a customer patronize this location without being verbally assaulted, harassed for $$, intimidated by the filth loitering on the premises. Wawa has finally arrived in south Florida! People keep asking me what the big deal is. Yes, it's a gas station...with relatively lower prices. Inside the store it's always clean and the employees are super friendly. Their hoagies are delicious, custom ordered on a touchscreen and reasonably priced. Their coffee is fantastic. They have clean bathrooms and an ATM with no service charge. I look forward to popping in for their quick breakfast sandwiches and grabbing a yummy hoagie for lunch. It's been pretty busy since it opened, and I imagine after everyone sees what all the fuss is about, it will continue to stay busy! read more

This was my first ever time being in a wawa. I've heard nothing but good things from everyone I've talked to about this company. There aren't any from where I'm from, so after a year of being down here, I thought I'd give it a try tonight. BIIIG mistake. I ordered a salad from the deli, thinking it would be quick. You see, I just got off a long shift and have been up all day. I'm tired and just wanted to get something quick on my way home. I was waiting for that salad for nearly 10 minutes. TEN! When I finally got my order, I went to pay. The line was all the way in the back by the ice cream cooler and there was only one running register. I was in the building for over 20 minutes for just a salad. I'm very, very disappointed. I'm not even exaggerating on the time either. My order was placed at 11:27. I was in the building for a couple of minutes before that. I left at exactly 11:47. I'm aggravated and irritated. I won't be coming back to this location at all. I don't wanna just trash the company as a whole, I'll try another location before that, but this location is very disappointing. read more
