I had a pleasant experience at this Wawa. They were out of their cream cheese pretzels that I came in to get, but when I asked about them they got one in the oven right away and into my hands in a timely manner. I appreciate their employees friendliest and help.

Quesadilla not cut all the way through.

This review is going to be very mixed since some aspects were good and some were bad. Checkout: 5/5 stars. Excellent customer service. The girl there was very nice while checking me out at the register. She was also fast & efficient. Bathrooms: 5/5 stars. I've never been here where the bathrooms haven't been nice. For a gas station, this wawa's bathroom are very nice. Fast food area: This is where I give it a 1 or 2 out of 5 stars. The girl there who made the cold drinks was great & she also helped make the sandwiches. She herself gets 5/5 stars. What ruined everything was the guy working there. My boyfriend ordered a quesadilla and my sister ordered a hoagie. Both of these were NOT cut. I don't know if he forgot, or if it was out of pure laziness. He did, however, cut the top portion of my boyfriend's quesadilla, but never actually cut THROUGH it. On top of that, every time he turned around, you could see his boxers hanging out. I mean SEVERELY hanging out, I'm not one to judge on just a little bit showing, but it's like...how unprofessional can you be dude?

I love Wawa, it's my favorite convince store and since none exist in my home town I stop whenever I find one. This one had the usual wonderful food the other ones do but service was very slow thanks to only having one guy making the food. It took over 15 minutes and the store wasn't even busy. I love Wawa and will always stop whenever I find one but I don't expect to have to wait 15 minutes.

I love Wawa and wish there was one in State College, PA as it's so much better than Sheetz. The only negative I have with Wawa is their restrooms. Every one I've been in over the last year has been a mess--very dirty and a musty smell. Other than that, the food is great, the coffee is great, and the gas is usually a bit cheaper than other gas stations. I would highly recommend going to Wawa over any other convenience store.

Every Wawa in the area is welcome addition. Good coffee, great hoagies and tastykakes. I will never hate on my hometown go to market.

Average customer service. Stop by here everyone and a while to grab coffee and fill up gas on my way to my classes.

KFC sits right across the street looking as deserted as the mall. So fortunate to have had the only Bojangles outside of the south for so many years. The biscuits are next level compared to what's served at other chains. First, they are full-sized, crisp-pockety exterior, flaky inside w/ a buttery finish. Maybe the only fast food item in history that you swear is homemade. Chicken has good amount of breading, spicer as you get closer to the bone, but not as spicy as it used to be as regular vs. spicy option got morphed into one. It's flavorful, moist, & brings some heat on certain unexpected bites. The sides: it has always been about the dirty rice- that's their signature. Golden colored rice w/ crumbled sausage, bell peppers, & cajun seasoning. The rest are mere subs for those who don't like rice, tho at times I appreciate the nearly potato wedges they call fries. Sweet tea is steeped in-store, not pre-bottled. I know people who roll up just to buy jugs of that. No longer have Bo in my backyard, which makes it all the more special when I do have opportunity to get it. Love the giant yellow box that announces, It's Bo Time! I show up at home with it, cheers happen!

The interior dining area is relatively small and clean, though I would not recommend it for large gatherings. I thoroughly enjoyed the "get that corn outta my face" and was thankful to have the option for it in a bowl (otherwise I wouldn't have tried it.) it was a unique blend of flavors and textures that had me questioning the first bite or two, but the more I ate it, the more I liked it. (If you get the bowl, I recommend stirring it up first to evenly distribute the ingredients.) Service was prompt and courteous when they brought each of the meals to our table. This is a counter style establishment, so that was appreciated. The theme of the restaurant focuses on the Nacho Libre movie (menu items named after key movie points) and other movies focused on luchadores. It is unfortunate that the thumb wrestling rings never returned to the tables following Covid. This is a fun and laidback place to grab a quick bite. I love the quirky atmosphere and the delicious food. My recommendation would be to go during down times so you can sit and enjoy the atmosphere without the wait.

I like Wayback because customizations go beyond adding mainstays like lettuce, tomato, and onion. It still boggles my mind that all the fast food giants still nickel and dime you for those three basic toppings. So yeah, props to the casual burger chains that still offer these up for free. And like Five Guys, you can add "premium" toppings like jalapenos, grilled onions, and mushrooms at no additional charge as well. In addition to burgers and fries, Wayback serves up chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, and fried cheese curds. I was also impressed by the interior. It's pretty sleek with this sort of retro, wood-panel aesthetic to it. Wayback Burgers fits snuggly between, let's say the Burger Kings of the world and the boutique joints like Five Guys and Shake Shack. The only thing holding it back is quality and consistency. I remember my burger patties being dry to the point of breaking down and crumbling. This probably has to do with the fact that the patties seemed noticeably... small? Like 3 oz., tops. Maybe I'm imagining it but that's sure what it felt like. Getting a double here is basically a must.
