This was an oasis that took advantage of the nearby amusement park visitors. They do have some competition when it comes to food with a few fast food establishments nearby. With it being the only gas station it was congested and hard to maneuver in the lot. Actually it was equally hard to maneuver inside as well with the congestion. I did make sure that I was able to use the facilities and refuel myself for my drive back to the hotel. I got my usual iced tea and grabbed a snack or two. What took the longest here was the checkout line. It was long and slow moving. Probably because it is the easiest place to stop to pick up a last minute item, grab a bite to eat, use the ATM, etc. next to the amusement park. " I know you know how to count!" she said " 3.33" she said pointing to the screen " You need 13 cents" I will say the cashier gave them the 13 cents out of her pocket, while I was looking for some change to give them, but I still feel it was very demeaning and the boys should have been treated with more respect. They were children, there is never a good reason of discrimination or racism, but It's especially bad when it's children.
