I've been in a few times and the experience is always decent. Gas prices are comparable, sometimes the cheaper option in the area. As far as food and drinks, they have plenty of options. This Wawas made my favorite sandwich the best I've ever had it (the first time they made it). It was perfect! This is the only Wawa in Winter Haven so it was a bit packed, but the staff moved the food and drinks out quicker than the cashiers rang people up if you ask me. The strawberry banana smoothie was perfect and the people with me loved their Oreo milkshakes. They also had the Spicy Ranch Doritos when most stores don't! We were routed to Wawa in Winter Haven to charge and decided to go in and grab breakfast. The staff seemed friendly enough, however, the restrooms as well as the store were dirty. The trash cans by the charging stations were overflowing with garbage and food was splattered all over the pavement. The new chargers were great and charged our car quickly so there's one positive. I'd stop here again to charge but nothing else. read more

I was in the area and stopped in to purchase fuel. Easy to locate and it was an extremely busy station. I had to wait a few minutes before I could get to a pump but I was able to get my fuel easily and prices were competitive. There was a lot of foot traffic in and out of the store and it was very apparent that the food service was very busy as you could keep hearing the announcements that orders were ready. I've always had good luck with Wawa and when I used the Wawa card I get a small kickback per gallon of gas on my bill. I've used Wawa for years and never had a problem at the pump! Today I found out that when you use your card at the pump, the pump pre-authorizes $175 from your account just to turn the pump on and allow you to put gas in. I've NEVER had that large of a pre-authorization before! I know I've pumped gas with less than that in my account before! I'm just a teacher who doesn't make that much! Wawa you make billions there's no reason to take that much from your customers! The only thing the manager could help with was reassuring me the pending charges have never lasted more than 15 mins.....it's been longer than 15 mins and I still can't buy gas because it's still pending! read more

Stopped for gas. I've been to wawa many times, both in PA & in FL. It's one of the nicer convenience stores.

Got to try the pizza from Wawa it's ok has good crust with plenty of toppings my only complaint was the sausage and pepperoni lacked flavor specially the sausage but it's was ok but for 20 bucks I'll go across the street to little Caesar's and get the same pizza for 10 bucks. Horrible rewards app do not work you can not even make a new account. Keep saying something went wrong try again. And if you swipe your card on your key chain without registering the card you are not actually getting your points threw the code number on back of your key swipe. What a rip off the numbers should register when u swipe even if u don't have an award account yet. So all these years the cashier been swiping my key card and I have not got any points for over two years so why do the register make a noise when the cashier swipe so it's a lie and you not actually getting no points what a Beautiful way to RIPP people off out of they points. Wawas are very convenient. This one is not exception. One of the offices I occasionally need to visit is in Winter Haven. A waaaaay too long of a drive for me to a place where Yelp is my only guide and helper. This Wawa is one of the few "fast-food" type eating establishments within a mile from my work. So If I'me craving lunch and only have 20 minutes between clients (in which case I'm lucky), I quickly drive to this Wawa and order some food. Very clean and organized with excellent service. Fair gas prices and decent coffee. This Wawa is my go-to place when working in Winter Haven. read more

Stopped in Wednesday morning for ice coffee. I was disappointed that I had to use a filthy disgusting touch screen to order. There was no hand sanitizers. Come on guys. Figure out a way so that hundreds of people don't have to touch those screens everyday. Also should be disinfecting door handles. There's pandemic happening. These screens should be outlawed. I come to this wawa every night after work and they are always out of mashed potatoes,so I get the Mac and cheese bowl with the chicken tenders instead.. well tonight they are out of both and the chicken and out of the chips and the candy I always get as well and the soda Machine is broke as well and 15 minutes if you do order anything. I love wawa, don't get me wrong, and I hate to be a "Karen" but I was waaaay overcharged for essentially the same thing. I wanted a burrito with beans, no meat, they claimed they have no beans. I order a bowl and suddenly they have beans. The bowl costs more than a veggie burrito, so I ask to speak with the manager. The response I got was "well we have 'cold' beans but not hot. So it costs more for you to NOT heat up the beans than it would to just put them in a microwave? That doesn't make sense. I work in food service. Less work equals MORE money?!? Okay then. At roughly 5:50pm today 6/11 I went to put $20 on pump 1. While waiting for a register I was cut in line. I politely asked the man cutting me to wait in line. He proceeded to threaten me while getting cashed out. Watch your video cameras for proof. Those cashiers did not give a single fuck. So I will get the police involved next time I am threatened as Wawa's employees seem incapable of controlling their property. read more
