Another quick stop for gasoline while on the road. Getting fueled up was quick and easy and the prices were slightly better than others in the area. We didn't stop inside on this visit. By far this is the worst RaceTrac location of them all. I realize the RaceTrac is a growing brand, but this location is constantly plagued with problems. One out of every three visits there is some kind of issue. Card card machines not working (taking cash only), staff not showing up (doors locked), shelves not stocked, etc. Today one pump had a nozzle that was broken and not working. I moved to another pump only to have it shut off while pumping. I go inside to ask what is going on to learn some though it was a good idea to reboot the pumps. Really? read more

This gas station is brand new. Because I'm from Florida I'm very familiar with the RaceTrac brand, which has always been a reliable place to get gas, snacks and use the restroom. The interesting thing about the new RaceTrac stations, like this one, is that they have created there own made to order stands and kiosks. They are really trying to jump on the same band wagon that has made Wawas and Sheetz so profitable on the east coast. Because of this you can now order sandwiches, subs, espressos, and frozen drinks. I tried the roast Beef Gouda and it was exactly what I expected it to be... a sandwich from a gas station... I would really just compare it to a gourmet sandwich you could get at Arby's. I also ordered the frozen berry drink and although it had great flavor and tasted fresh it was so full of seed shards I think it would have killed someone with a severe case of diverticulitis. My only guess as to what seed could do this in a very berry drink is pomegranate. All in all 4 stars for cleanliness, food selection, and service. read more

This is a newly placed gas station on US Hwy 27. You May have to take a u-turn if you are coming from Winter Haven towards Interstate 4. It's kind of inconvenient how the entrance works but I'm still glad it was built. I always get crushed ice and gas at the different locations. Today this location had issues with half of the pumps not working and the card machines were out of order. Since it's Friday it was packed and everyone wanted some of this $1.99 regular they were advertising. The drinks and slushes were working fine and the counters could have used a good wipe down. read more

Don't bother going here if you want a hot dog they are either out or they have been sitting on the roller for 6 hours and are pruny and old. Literally the main food people stop at a gas station for is hotdogs and this place can't seem to manage to keep them cooked. I will just make the extra drive to WAWA from now on. read more

Jasmine the shift leader is such a ray of sunshine and I say that absolutely nothing but sarcasm. I first noticed her when she was snippy to an older couple saying "we are open 24 hours" her tone caught my attention she didn't even stop what she was doing or look there way. When I got up to cash out the girl rang up my items .60 more than the 2 for $4 sign. Not a big deal but I wouldn't get 2 if it wasn't on sale. I asked her about it...she tried and didn't ring it in right (her math was wrong) I wasn't being nasty and the girl ringing me up was fine but she asked jasmine who is now yelling next customer! Next customer! What to do next. She said "just wait I'll do it!" Her tone you could tell she was having a really bad night I would have said something to her to try and make it better buttttt that's not how you treat older people at all. I was shocked when I seen she was the shift leader on her tag. She needs to learn you never know who you're interacting with and think about the way you're representing your company, and no one wants to work with Ms. Nasty Attitude! read more

Today, Wednesday, 6th of November, I went to gas up at around 9:20 AM. I was assisted by a Caucasian lady. I gave her a $20.00 bill and asked for cigarettes and gas. She asked for my driver license. I know that they'll ask for your driver license in California, but wasn't aware they did this in Florida -- nor have I ever been asked to show my driver license in any Florida gas station where I've asked for cigarettes. What got to me wasn't that. I was willing to show her my license, but she then said, "I need to scan it"... I reacted and told her I'd do without cigarettes, because I was really cautious about showing my driver licence, much less for her to scan it in their system. I asked her if this was the law, to which she replied, "some girl was sent to prison for doing this"... This cashier acted strange and nervous. And, at the end of it all, I never did find out if this was a new Florida law or not?!?! Anyway, just posting this so people could be aware. read more
