I just went to get my lashes done by Jenny last Monday! I am new to the area and was a bit weary finding a new person to fill my beautification needs. The experience: Jenny is so friendly! Happy to make small talk, but she also plays music in the background that is nice to listen to. This sounds unimportant, but have you ever sat in silence with a stranger for over an hour or two without any noise, it's uncomfortable. She offered me a complimentary beverage and went to work! I was comfortable enough on the table I fell asleep multiple times, haha. Lashes: I went in for a classic set, which I've had done at other locations and sometimes they're sparse or uneven! This isn't the case with Jenny. My lashes were long and beautiful when she was done! Another thing, I have sat and had the glue sting my eyes at other places, or the lashes are noticeable and heavy after the fact. I don't even notice the lashes & the glue didn't bother me at all! Lucky me. I stumbled on this esthetician and salon by serendipity. I got a referral from someone s out my age with great looking skin. I was looking to establish a relationship for ongoing, aging skin. Jen is the proprietor and esthetician. She clearly loves her work. She starts by asking what you hope to accomplish, next she takes pictures of your skin so she and you can see before and after pictures. After a great massage, she uses Korean skin care products. I have always loved similar products, and these were sensational. The light therapy was a great plus and something I never fully appreciated. Jenny is a life saver. Or .. an Anniversay Day saver, at least. Back Story: I had an appointment to go to a sugaring place in Everett. A very popular place, as it were. Here's the snag. There was an accident on the 5 southbound. I live in Marysville and what should have taken 10 minutes took me about 20-25. Needless to say, I was in communication with the owner the whole way and was told that she would not be able to see me. I was 10 minutes late from my 2nd appointment (I had 2 back to back ones that day and decided to forgo the 1st and just keep the 2nd because of how late I was). So I desperately searched my Yelp app for anywhere to go that would take me in asap. We were set to go to Snohomish that day (Date/Anniversary Day) and this is where I found Jenny. I called her and she totally hooked me up. With only a couple of hours notice she made time for me to come in and get it done. She did a great job and offered both sugaring and waxing. I had no idea she offered sugaring (since she had just started offering it as a service). She cleaned it all up and then I was on my way to the spa day I had planned with my husband. I booked with Jenny based on reading the other reviews. My appointment was 2 days before I left for my cruise (back in January). I had a "surprise" sugaring (ran out of wax) which was fine because I had always wanted to try it. I think the sugaring was a tad bit more painful but I like the end result better. I was not left feeling sticky afterwards. PLUS I have had zero in-growns. Jenny was super friendly and chatty which helps to keep your mind focused elsewhere. I have had lashes a few times by different professionals. I didn't realize how they were supposed to actually look and feel. When i would brush them, they would get a little caught sometimes and I would need to separate them here and there just assuming that it can happen with the glue. I found was and 40 lashes after my last gal retired and I needed a fill. After my fill was done (and it was pretty much a new set due all the extra glue on the lashes and damaged lashes themselves) they felt amazing and looked just as good. They feel silky, I can brush them without catching and I don't even feel them. I can usually tell when I have lashes on. I didn't realize that this was how they were supposed to be. I was given excellent information on how the lashes are supposed to be, she took pictures of what she was replacing and showed me what to loo for. And, she fit me in on her day off so I could go through the weekend with my fill. I was a new client and Jenny went way above and beyond. If you are looking for great lashes, go see Jenny.
