Our team had a discovery meeting to discuss our quote, goals for the video and learn how we needed to prep for a day of footage and scripting. I was given access to their online project management system where the project and its pieces could be reviewed and discussed. This eliminated having to manage multiple emails that get lost in an Inbox. The day of filming went smoothly. We had interviews set up for 4 people and shot several hours of b-roll in our forklift shop. Our videographer, Taylor, was laid back and had an eye for shots to capture our story best. After our first review of the drafted video, he also came back out to capture another shot and sound bite. The Marketing Squad secures voice over talent and background music for our video. I had the option to walk away with the information or move forward. Building a website isn't easy and patience is key, but Blackstone bailed down the template and navigation quickly. I was taught how to build content into the pages and set up SEO on Yoast, which is built in to the customized Wordpress site. Before launch I worked closely with the Blackstone team to perform QA tests. We had one day of sitting in a conference room knocking out fixes. When our launch happened, it was seamless. I waited a week to announce it to the company! But, our new site worked from day one. I now work with Blackstone monthly on a retainer agreement. The team continues to produce analytics and suggestions for improvement. Some things I can do, others they quote by the job. They also assist my company with AdWords and website hosting. Blackstone will not be the cheapest option for a website but the end product will certainly show the difference.
