POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have had state farm for more than 20 years in Texas and never ever had a problem! Since moving to Florida and switching to the Scroggins agent, I have had nothing but payment and correspondence problems with these people!! So, last week, exactly a week ago. I switched. My insurance with state farm should have cancelled the same day! I sent them a fax. There was no phone call asking me why or we are sorry to see you go. SO, today I look at my bank account and they withdrew their usual monthly payment!! I called them and the woman said let me look into that, oh, we do see you cancelled last week!! She said unfortunately, our billing department did not find out till yesterday!!!!! So, they will send you a refund. They have to MAIL me the check!! I won't get the check till hopefully Friday!! I was counting on that money today! All I got was a sorry for the inconvenience and still no sorry to see you go. read more

Please don't waste your time to try to get insurance covered here, poor communication & very slow service at best , I was referred there from a friend & since Jan.18th I have been getting the run around , tardy emails from the daughter who blew off my face to face meeting to deliver all my documentation to then only by obligation responded 5 days later with a negative email with no insurance binding information , 2 days before our expiration date ......it is hard to believe they are allowed to use the State Farm logo ! This is the absolute worst agency I've ever dealt with in 30 years of driving. I experienced a hit and run to my car. I contacted the agency immediately and I brought my car by and they took photos. I also had a note left by a witness to the accident. I was assigned a horrible agent who lost all my paperwork and it took a threat to report them to their state licensing agency to magically find my claim. Next, the assigned agent told me I'd be better off pursuing the claim myself. Why? Isn't that what I am paying for? I spun my wheels for months trying to navigate the process and get my car repaired. Every time I contacted the agency, it was like I was interrupting the agent playing video games on his computer or something. I finally settled with the other company, no thanks at all to this company. I contacted them to get assigned another agent and they would not do it. When I canceled the policy the "mommie" (Mrs. Scoggins, apparently) defended the horrible agent and his total lack of help or input. This company did nothing but cash my premium check. They lost my paperwork, refused to process a claim and acted like I was just a pain in their butt not worth a return phone call. The witness to my hit and run had taken pictures of the car that hit mine, complete with a license plate and photos of the driver. It should have been a very simple open and shut case for a claims adjuster to settle with that driver's insurer. Instead, I was left twisting in the breeze dealing with the adjuster from the other company and trying to get the matter resolved. Useless tool of an adjuster and a management system that protects the incompetent and lazy while leaving their customers out to dry. Worst company ever! read more

Wayne and his entire staff always have been very helpful handling insurance questions and incidents with myself and my family. They are always helpful and congenial for matters small and more serious, such as: Notary documents, to working with 3rd parties, i.e., HUD Flood insurance or Citizens home insurance and price fluctuations trying to get the best deal for us. When I had an accident 4 yrs ago, Wayne and his staff helped us with the financials in a professional matter and a quick resolution without any litigation which was satisfactory. Now that we have a new auto incident which was caused by an uninsured motorist, working with the State Farm team outside of Wayne's office, Wayne is helping to do the best to get this resolved by following up and making necessary calls to the proper people to expedite getting it resolved. We have been with State Farm more than 30 years. The customer service reps/agents do not reply to e-mails and twice this week I spoke with 2 agents in the office and they did not do as I requested. Also every time I call there I have to speak with a different Agent. I would never recommend this agency to any one! Today I cancelled 3 policies and next month I'm moving my flood policy. The customer service or lack thereof has been astounding. Calls go into voice mail 90% of the time. Calls are rarely returned. When we do get someone on the phone which is normally a receptionist (who knows nothing and can assist in no way) , we are generally told that all agents are busy or have just left for lunch. We have been trying to transfer vehicles for 3 days and it's still not done. Unfortunately, my son is with this agency as his coverage is under his father. I , personally, am with Stanley Dean State Farm and have been for 20+ years and have never had any of these issues. I believe that as soon as my son goes on his own which will be next year, he will be switching agencies immediately. Terrible, terrible, terrible. Do NOT use this agency if you can at all help it. read more
