We don't love junk but we DO love We Love Junk! What a sentence. The team here made clearing out my storage unit a total breeze and I cannot recommend them enough for any of your junk haul needs. Step 1) Requested a quote via Yelp and had a super fast response from owner Nick. Step 2) Hopped on the phone and to go over processes. Step 3) They had a team meet me at my unit the NEXT morning (amazing!) who gave me an incredibly reasonable quote and hauled everything away right then and there. Step 4) Pay with credit card and go on with your day. I truly don't think it could have been easier if I scripted it myself. This was a smaller job and We Love Junk charges by space on their truck, so my total was ~$185 without fees and gratuity. I used this company last year to remove debris from a bathroom demo and was very happy with the service and price. They're still incredibly fast to come out and get the work done. However, the price nearly doubled a year later for removal of the same kind/amount of material. Statements from the owner on reviews say it's due to price increases for gas, etc. But then they tacked on a $10 fee for gas. I asked the owner about it but my question was ignored. Not cool. They included the amount on the invoice but not on the receipt. Ok... The guys that did the work were fast and left nothing behind, but I think I'll still go elsewhere for next year's project. If I wasn't on a time crunch to get rid of it all, I would've shopped around. Edited to reply to Nick: I've looked at the pics from each time to compare and they are deceiving, especially because everything's elevated on a trailer this time. Last year's pics aren't even accurate because I had added items after I sent the pics since you do the real estimate on site. The only difference between the bathrooms is one had a tub and one had a shower. We broke up and bagged the tile for this load instead of stacking the sheets, which did make it appear to be larger. There is a half sheet of plywood and some pieces of drywall beyond the last load, so in that sense, yes, there is more debris but not even close to double. I do understand the need to raise rates as your costs go up, but this seemed excessive. I was also hit with a fee for gas on the invoice that wasn't mentioned until I saw it. You've stated in other replies that your rise in prices was due to things like the cost of gas. I feel like as a repeat customer, tacking that on was not right. I do my best to be fair and I'm doing that in this review. The service was great, the workers were great, the price and the fee, especially considering I asked if pricing was still the same and was told yes... not so great. Thanks to We Love Junk my entire basement and outdoor shed was thoroughly cleaned out with no stress or concern on my part. When two of the workers were skeptical about removing a post and handrail in order to remove the washer from the basement, Nick the owner came out himself and jumped right in to get the job completed. A special thanks to Zak who alerted me to a gas odor in the basement. Turns out that there was a gas leak and PECO had to come out and shut off the gas to the house until the leak was repaired. If you have a lot of stuff to get rid of, but don't have the time or inclination to find homes for it all or don't like the idea of throwing it all in a dumpster- do yourself a favor and call them. Best thing I ever did. They are friendly, courteous, and professional. They show up on time- and are amazingly efficient. I had an entire 3rd floor attic stuffed with over 40 years worth of stuff and they got it all cleared out in less than 2 hours. What I especially like is that your stuff goes to a sorting center instead of straight to the dump. Made it easier to let go of the 'good stuff' knowing that whatever could be recycled, donated, or reused, would be. They're marginally more expensive than a dumpster, but to me, so worth it. read more

I found providing pictures of the junk I needed removed to be crucial to getting a reasonable quote. They were fair and timely, even finished ahead of schedule. They were even able to take a few more metal things such as the hood of a car, although they may have made some money recycling it. read more

Great job! I had a a trailer on the side of my house left there for over 10 years from the previous tenants. It was in a very difficult area. They demolished the trailer and removed everything. While the team (Kadeem and Dan) that showed up were awesome, I wouldn't recommend trusting the owner of this business. Nick provided an estimate on Saturday only to attempt to increase it by $800 on Monday. His excuse was, he thought the bag was loaded with debris. But I am assuming he forgot he facetimed his team member who pulled down the side of the bag to show him the contents. He knew exactly what he was doing in attempting to increase the cost. However, instead of facing us, he sent his manager to do his dirty work while he stood looking and listening for our response. This is poor business management and reveals the owner's (Nick's) lack of integrity. Secondly, the team filled the one truck and a half on Saturday but we paid for two and agreed they would come to pick up the second half on Monday, which was fine. Once they picked up everything on Monday, the gentleman show us that our half of the truck had been fulfilled. Shortly after, Loli (the manager) told us, I am sure at the request of Nick, that our truckload was actually 3/4 and that it would cost us more. Thank goodness, we took a picture of what was in the truck when they arrived (see photo below) as they attempted to charge us more for items that did not come out of our property. Another display of how this company lacks integrity. Therefore, I would definitely steer clear of this company unless you are looking for the price quote to increase, to be overcharged or charged for someones else's junk. I DEFINITELY would not recommend this organization. UPDATE/RESPONSE TO OWNER Hi Nick, Are you saying we did reviews on 7 companies for this project? Please feel free to post those reviews. Third party flip? WE OWN THIS PROPERTY, so I am not sure you should trust the source of your information. Not working out for us? Nick, please see the pictures below which will depict in less than 24 hours we had a team come through and remove the brick/debris for HALF the amount you tried to scam us out of when you increased the price. It seems that you are "butt hurt" that we were honest in our review of your organization...that is the cost of doing business. It's quite concerning that you took the time to make up information and did little to no fact finding but didn't address the mere fact that 1.) You FaceTimed with your team member and was shown the contents for removal prior to giving a quote and 2.) How you tried to include trash you brought to the property as part of our trash removal and tried to charge us for it. Where are the answers to those issues? Your company LACKS integrity. That means (in short): lack in the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles but, I'm sure you know this. Regarding the estimate, you as the owner provided the quote....hahaha.
