The movers we worked with were quick and efficient, wonderful people to work with. But the pricing was crazy. I originally was quoted $250 for moving 4 items (2 couches, 1 small entertainment center, and 1 bed with mattress). As soon as it was discovered the bed and couches were taken apart, the price then became $650 as there were "more items". I'm not one to leave a bad review, but I've never dealt with such disrespect in my life. I had asked Justin and his crew if they could collect some items out of a basement. My friends and family PERSONALLY brought everything outside, and bagged small items. When they showed up, they told me it was too much stuff, charged me a 1000, and told me they couldn't fit the bags. I offered to throw them out myself, just asked that they leave them out back. The bags are torn and all the contents are spilled all over the backyard. I asked Justin if he could come back and he said he would on three different occasions. On those days, he never showed up. worst service ever!!! beware!!! at first the owner justin was really nice and helpful. i had to change my move date 2xs and he had no problem helping with that. but then the day of the move came and the movers were late.they had gotton lost for an hour! then i was asked to put items in my own car and help them move because they needed more help even though there were 3 of them. they stayed playing on their phones and where completley unprofessional. one of the movers had a cast on her arm which made me think how are the gonna move without damangeing anything and i was right. they broke my leather chair. thank god i they asked to put things in my car otherwise i know more items would have been ruined. and thats not the half of it. after i went home to drop off my items i had to drive all the way back to the storge place to because they had gotten lost again and needed to follow me. " like really whats gps for" to make matters worst they couldnt complete the job but promised to come back the next day at 12. but made me pay in advance before the service was compleated. stupidly i did trusting that they would come back. even after they charged me $150 more than the negociated amount. the next day they never came. i called all day long and the next day until my calls were automaticaly forwared to voicemail. i was blocked. and they had taken my money. after that i called from my work number and justin answered on the 1st ring. he told me he he was busy with another work project and thats why he hadnt called back. and if i wanted to have him finish the job id have to pay again. after this i gave up and started looking for another company to finish my move. i knew his quote was too good to be true. read more

I hired them to help move my girlfriend to her new apartment. Confirmed the day before. One hour before they were supposed to arrive, they told me they were running late...2 hours late. Meanwhile, my girlfriend and her family are sitting around waiting. 3 hours go by, and now I'm calling him and texting with no response. This was unusual because prior to this day he was very responsive. Finally at 5pm I talked to him and he said he was still working another job. My appointment was at 2pm. I have a LOT of stuff but they were patient and did everything within the timeframe I estimated (I've done a lot of moving over the years). I paid exactly the amount that I was quoted, and the guys even stayed to put my bed together before they left. I am super particular so I would be the first to say if anything went wrong but for the amount of manual labor it took I couldn't ask for much more. Also, one of my movers mentioned that he and the owner were HBCU grads so automatically I felt like I was being taken care of by family. Move went as planned and service was as I expected. they are called Mr Junk Truck for a reason because they treat your stuff like junk. Not one single piece of my furniture did not get scratched, scraped, or chipped, one bureau drawer so smashed I had to buy a new bureau. They showed up late with a truck already 1/4 full of trash, three guys instead of two, which cost extra, and they had to make two trips to deliver all my things, which of course added to the price, well beyond what I was quoted and agreed upon. They left stuff behind, which took me several trips in my car and a borrowed pick-up to move. They used a hand truck, once, for an ironing board. If you are a senior, which I am, and a vet, which I am, the so called discount is a disgrace. Had they shown up with an empty truck it could have been done in one move. Don't hire these clowns unless what you have is trashed already and you are begging to get ripped off. Almost twice the quoted price, they take advantage of you.
