There is a Starbucks right next to the hotel but you have to either hop the fence or drive over to the adjacent parking lot. Also no free breakfast which is pretty strange these days. But even more unusual is that they have a breakfast restaurant that you can pay to eat at. We opted to find a cool local Asheville breakfast place as there are many to choose from. Although the hotel is going complete renovations they weren't working Sunday. Lobby was half construction site but my room was do brand new comfortable. The room was very clean and modern. I'm always worried when a price seems too good to be true, but in this case it was an excellent value. My only 2 gripes are: 1) there was this odd clicking noise that happened every few minutes by the door. At first, I thought someone was trying to use their key at the wrong door, but no one was there. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from or how to stop it but it went on all night. 2) the pillows are terrible. They give you four in the king bed and I think I had to use them all. I know I'm used to more plush pillows and perhaps if you like thin pillows with no support, you'd be fine. While the bed was very comfortable the pillows did make me toss and turn. I would stay here again for one night if I needed a safe, clean place to stay. But I wouldn't stay for multiple nights without bringing my own pillow.
