Communication was terrible whether it was through text, email or even a phone call it was hardly effective, I would continuously need to repeat myself or find court documents that she would misplace. I did not feel confident while in court before the Judge as Gina was unable to communicate key points and concerns in my case that I wanted the court reporter to make record of. On my court date when the Judge asked for evidence to back up my allegations Gina literally choked and could not find the proof that was provided to her and needed in that moment due to her disorganization, it was extremely embarrassing to say the least. I had also requested for her to open a "Paternity action" as it was a time sensitive matter, a month after my request she tells me she can not find the email I sent her in regards to that Paternity action and if I could resend in a new email thread. Per her request, I did just that and shortly after I reached out to Gina to confirm she received it but had no response. I did not hear from Gina for over a stretch of 6 days, and when I finally did hear from Gina she began to tell me all about another client who was pregnant and was put in jail by her boyfriend and had to help her get her kids, because the boyfriend took the kids and so on and so on. At this point I was bothered, I did not find her "explanation" professional at all, her other clients are not my business. Additionally, her lack of communication, attention to detail and sense of urgency for my case was my concern. So as I began to express that to her, she abruptly decided to quit on me. Truly the most unreliable attorney I have come across. That saying "You get what you pay for" That would be the definition of Gina! She was a referral from a good friend, had I known she would cause me additional anxiety to just turn around and quit I would have paid the extra cash to someone else.
