My wife and I are both self employed and worked from home last year until our son was born…read more Needing extra space, we stretched our budget to join the Midtown Industrious location because it was convenient to our home and met all our needs including access to a newly renovated gym in the building that was the highlight of our tour. Fast forward 5 months into our year long contract and access to the gym has been revoked unless we pay an additional $100 per month. Hannah Mostellar, the General Manager, has refused to honor their commitment, is unwilling to compromise on my monthly rate, and will not terminate our lease early so that we can find an alternative space. Instead she referenced my contract stating that services may be removed at any time at Industrious' sole discretion. Don't be fooled by the "extra amenities" as they can be stripped from you without warning or compromise. The only services they are contractually required to provide are printer services and internet. It's a shame that an organization that was recently acquired by a massive, publicly traded organization (CBRE), is unwilling to do right by small business owners. Look elsewhere if you are a small business owner who values commitment and compromise from your business partners.

Why didn't wait so long to experience Switchyards. This co-working space had the feel of a coffee…read moreshop/record store/bookstore/speakeasy. It has tons of different options for sitting areas. I might start on the couch, but when my laptop battery starts to run low, I usually switch to a table or counter so I can charge back up. They also have phone booths for those private meetings and even a small conference room. If you really need to get down to business with no disruptions, they have a focus room with white noise. In the main area, they play a mix of songs which are loud enough to make you want to take your foot, it quiet enough where you can have a Teams call without disrupting the person next to you. They provide coffee and teas. The coffee is from local roasters which I think is a very nice touch. With them being open 24/7 and giving you access to all of their locations, it's an ideal place to work. This location has free parking and is surrounded by restaurants. (The Spicy Peach will deliver your breakfast or lunch here from their prepared food section. I highly recommend the mushroom panini!). Bring a sweater as it can be chilly at times.

When I arrived there wasn't anyone there affiliated with the space, but some of the members were meeting and encouraged my to go online to sign up for a drop-in membership. The space was outfitted with several working spaces. There are hightops and desks. The space had wi-fi exclusive to members and several electrical outlet, which are always a plus. I don't live in the area. I was visiting from Augusta, GA, but this will likely be a place I'd drop into if ever I'm in Atlanta again on business and need a place to get some work done for an extended period of time.

The location changes each month so this rooftop was pretty cool. The pool area was closed off but there was an option to make reservations to be seated for dinner. Overall, a great location that's normally reserved for members only. The staff is great, the decor is clean and the venue has an upper balcony in case you missed it. From large shared space areas with great lighting and window views, to more cozy nooks to hunker down in, this space has it all. There is also a full service Cafe with still and sparkling water on tap! Love that. Internet is great and the staff is SO HELPFUL. If we had one near me in SC, I'd be working out of there instead of starbies lol. Super appreciate this team however, to be serious. They are phenomenal, and when I'm traveling I try to time my trip to go right thru here so I can work out of this location

The first day, my colleague and I were so caught up in what we were doing that we accidentally stayed way past closing time. But the person working the front desk could not possibly have put us in less of a rush to leave. Not only did she insist that we take our time, but she even got something scanned and emailed to me while she was finishing getting the place closed down. This was very symbolic of all of our interactions throughout our two days here - from the person at the front desk, to the person who made our coffee - everyone was as nice as humanly possible The space offers a few different seating options - booths, open couches, a coffee shop type vibe and private conference rooms. The conference rooms cost extra, so we opted for the booth seating, which were semi-private. Because we were only in town for two days, the day pass made the most sense for us - $20/person per day. The includes use anywhere in the space besides the conference rooms, WiFi, access to the scanner/copier/etc. There is also like a mini coffee shop available in-house, which allows you to purchase some caffeine without having to leave the space. This was the first time I've ever used a co-working space and it was a super pleasant experience - thanks Roam!
