      I received a brochure in the letterbox & kept it knowing that in several years Id be getting a new…read morekitchen. Seeing the brochures I new the kitchens were custom made & quality. When it came to time to get prices & go ahead with a new kitchen I got 4 different quotes. 3 custom & 1 more standard. I was very insisted on what I wanted. I had planned it for 2 years. First of all Davis & Park were the only ones to offer advice & suggestions when they saw flaws in my design. Others said, ok we can make it work but never stated the REALITY of the problems if we went ahead with our own design. Lloyd came & helped design what has been the most perfect kitchen for me. I have chronic back issues & rheumatoid so this was taken into consideration as I aged & issue would worsen. Then there was Rachel who helped with choosing profiles, drawers, cupboards & the extra information needed for the kitchen to look fantastic as well as function great. Now for the Installation!!! WOW.......... Starting from Tim who measured to perfection then Bill & team who actually installed the kitchen over several days, I have nothing but absolute High Praise for these guys. They really know what they are doing & just got on with it....nothing was too much trouble....I realised a few things that I'd chosen with height etc were wrong & they adjusted them with a smile & a no problem attitude!! They treated myself, husband & our home with such respect!! If only all tradesmen were like Bill & men! Thank you everyone involved, start to FABULOUS finish. We are so grateful for what is a dream kitchen. PS. We also got them to make & install a television unit which was to be built into a recessed fireplace. They made it again to perfection. Again thank you for a flawless renovation. A very old house comes with difficulties when you start a Reno but you guys work around each challenge. By the way. We got prices from some big well known companies. Australia wide with great reputations. This company was the most expensive but I knew from the first meeting that they were the company for me.

This is the second time I have called Marion Locksmiths - the first time was a couple of years ago, when we locked the keys inside the house, WOOPS! It was 9.00 on a Friday night, and they came out within 20 minutes and had the door open in record time. This time our door lock was stuck - it had been threatening to go for months, but this time I tried for 15 minutes with my key, but was still unable to open it. Marion Locksmiths were the first company I thought of, and the guy was out in about 25 minutes. He took off the lock, cleaned it up, and it has been as good as new ever since - PHEW! Call out fee is $165, which is a lot - but well worth it if you can't get into your house! And at least you know they're always there for you ... just in case ;)

      Wow, when we first dealt with Aldinga Home Improvements, I thought I'd be giving them one star …read more.. but they really turned their service around and now I'm giving them 4! We received a quote for a lot of fencing and a carport - it took 6 weeks for the quote to come in, and we were pretty annoyed (especially since we had to keep chasing and chasing them!). After getting other expensive quotes, we grudgingly decided we still wanted to use them (it was quite a difference!). After seeing the manager Simon (who was excellent), we realised that the sales rep we had was the issue (saying quotes hadn't come in when they had, not making proper notes of measurements, etc.) - and that she was no longer working there. After that, the service was excellent! We ended up having the fencing done first, and everything was coordinated efficiently and quickly. The subcontractors doing the retaining wall were awesome as well! They always turned up when they said they would, and finished the work ahead of time. All in all, we ended up being very impressed, and will definitely get them back to do the carport - what a turnaround!!

We went to Bob Burns Blinds to curtain…read moreand blind our whole house because they were local and South Australian and had a good reputation. We received excellent support and service in selecting our blinds, curtains and security doors. Two thirds of the curtains and blinds were made and installed within a month and the quality is excellent. The curtains look stunning. Our builder had promised to finish our doors and rear windows within a couple of months of handover and sadly nearly one year on we are still trying to get them to finish the job. We are hopeful it will be finished in the next couple of weeks. In the meanwhile we have vision blinds ready and waiting to be installed and we have had to put a hold on our security doors too because of the problems. BBB have patiently stored our blinds and waited to finish the job we paid for. They have regularly followed up with us about progress too. All staff from the customer support team to the measurers and installers have been super friendly and helpful too. At this point we can't fault BBB and would thoroughly recommend them to all. They're not the cheapest around but not the dearest either. The quality of their products and customer service totally justifies the expense. Thanks BBB for a great job so far. We hope to get the last bits done shortly.

      Initially we went with BBB as they were a well know brand in Adelaide. Order was placed in early…read moreFeb. Measure done. Check measure done. (I am not sure what was check measured as I checked the diagram when it came time for installation and it was clearly wrong.) 7 weeks later, time for the installation and the problems begin. Take a Friday arvo off work - "The installer will be there at 2pm," we were told. We call at 3.45pm and were told, "he will be 15 minutes." The installer arrived at 6.40pm. We are having a 4 panel verticle drape installed in the living room. The panels were the wrong size by over 100mm. The installer advised that he would need to take them back in the morning to have them resized. We call at 11.00am the next morning and no one knows anything about this. I was advised, "Normally we would not call you, we would judt try to fix it." I requested a call on Monday - No Call. We call back on Tuesday and advised the service girl will call us straigh back - No Call. We call on Thursday and were told they will check and call us back - No Call. We get a call on friday to say the installer will be back Saturday. He comes back and puts the panels in. He Opens the packet for the Pelmet - No Tracks. The installers advises he will get and drop back one day the following week to put in. Wednesday, we call again - "He will be there thursday after work" - No Show - No Call. Friday - I call and are advised that she will check into it. She Promises a call back in 15-20 minutes - No Call. Monday - We SMS the installer and he says he will come that night. To confirm, I call the office and ask to speak to the manager. After being on hold for 5 minutes, I am told the manager is away and the office manager can call me back. I decline saying no one has called back yet, I wish to speak to her now. After a great deal of attitude, I am transferred. I relay the above story. A call is promised back where an appology for lack of communication is offered with annoyance over the fact we have contacted the installer ourselves. So apparently, tonight is the big night where this whole ordeal may finally be over. I recommend you find a different company if service is something you value.

      Seriously not big enough to swing a cat in but the space has been utilised to its full potential…read moreand a real surprise. The business is mainly aimed at interior design and to have a shop front presence but has giftware as a sideline. I was tempted to purchase the fibre optic branch Xmas tree in the window but decided I should put up the one stashed in the garage. I did perform a minor purchase of kitchen tea towels as a small token of patronage. There are some wonderful hurricane lanterns in various sizes, lots of neutral coloured cushions lining either side of the walls - I don't dare bring home any more cushions though as my other half would have a fit - a few large driftwood coloured twig wreaths which need decorating but that's the idea and other home decor and giftware. Judging by the items stocked and the overall good taste, I'm sure if their services were employed I wouldn't be disappointed.
