    5 Star Custom Upholstery is WONDERFUL. I had such a great…read moreexperience with them, from start to finish. They re-upholstered a day bed for me and did an absolutely beautiful job. I was also pleasantly surprised that they brought me the left over fabric, from my re-upholstery job. It is not too much, but it is enough for me to take right back to them, and order a few small accent pillows to match the daybed. (Which I plan to do soon.) They could have discarded the fabric or made pillows to sell in their shop, and I would never have known the difference. The honesty meant a lot to me. And speaking of fabric ... they have zillions of beautiful choices, in all price ranges. They were very patient with me and I am a person who does thorough research and takes her time, before I finally make a decision. I will admit a lot of places would have likely become annoyed or frustrated with me, for taking so much time and visiting the showroom to look through samples, over and over and over again, requesting pricing. But they were very kind and pleasant and willing to check pricing for me on many fabrics, many times. I also felt they charged a very fair price, especially considering the craftsmanship and turn around time and their willingness to do the pick up and drop off. The turn around time was so much faster than I expected. It was the holidays and I had to request they hold the daybed a few extra weeks for me, due to my extra traveling and holiday activities. True to form, they were very accommodating and understanding. If you find this review, consider yourself DONE looking for a quality re-upholstery business. 5 Star Custom Upholstery has earned a customer for life, in me. I think it would be impossible to find a better experience anywhere else.

    Contacted customer service and was hung up on by a REPRESENTATIVE NAMED ELBA. SHE EVEN ADMITTED IT!…read moreGUARDSMAN SUCKS!!! I purchased this waranty through Havertys furniture. I bought the 5 year Gold Plan. The best plan available. After 2 1/2 years the leather sectional furniture started pealing and one piece was warping. Guardsman denied ALL claims on the pealing without even coming out to look at it. I sent them numerous pictures. They said It was not due to normal wear and tear, but it was in places that there was no way it was wear and tear!!. A technician did come out to fix the warping, he did this by putting 2 pieces of wood underneath the furniture. It looks like CRAP! ROOMS TO GO quality! Not only that, it caused further damage to the unit and to our carpet. Guardsman refused to fix the damaged and get this... they wanted ME to get in touch with the technician that did the initial work. They refused to contact them. Guardsman had a 2nd technician that came out that noted all of the damage but Guardsman still denied all of those claims as well! I contacted Guardsman again and all claims were denied and all damaged and get this.. I was expected to contact the contract company that did the work to come fix their work. I did contact Havertys. I paid extra to have Havertys come out and view the shotty work Guardsman did and the pealing and only because I had purchased the Gold plan Havertys will come fix the sectional. So, unfortunately you have to get the extended plan, and deal with the horrible company Guardsman.... but it appears Havertys will stand behind their furniture. Guardsman Sucks!!

You call them, they email you, you have to send pictures but they have to be a certain file size, you have to electronically send those pictures and print up and send the form separate by postal. After that they give small windows of availability and try to screw you still by claiming loop holes. If you try to go over the contract they hang up on you. I am not joking the customer service agent hung up multiple times. I did not cuss or anything. All I did was point out where they were wrong. If you insist on buying it still i have a bridge I would like to sell you.
