Called to get a website built. Several times I was told someone would call me back, but didn't. I wanted to hire someone local so I persisted and kept calling them. The owner kept apologizing. She seemed nice, but at the end of the day was just making excuses. I sent a LOT of detailed information about what I wanted in a website. I felt I was given the runaround. From what I gathered in talking to them, one person was off work for a week or two and the only other person who could quote my job was busy and didn't have time for me. So, I waited. I talked to owner one Friday and she quoted me their 10 page rate. She obviously didn't even look at my material even though she insinuated she had. I told her what I wanted was custom and wouldn't be this price. A little later after looking at what I sent she said that ohh...what you want is much much more. Again, no one is able to even give me a ballpark idea of costs or timeframe. She said her designer would be in Wednesday and they would call me and then have a bid by Friday. Surprise, surprise no phone call. Finally, Friday I get a voicemail that my project is too much for them and they can't do it. Bottom line, even though they may be "nice" this is just unprofessional. Also, it disturbed me that the owner could not do something simple as quote an estimate. If you have a very simple website that is only informational then maybe they will work for you. If you need anything sophisticated I would go somewhere else to avoid wasting your time. read more
