Her adjustments are gentle and she's so sweet. She gave me some exercises to do and I'm happy to say that I've seen remarkable progress under her care. I've seen Dr. Dadas on a few occasions, and he's great too. Both doctors are intelligent and I felt comfortable and confident in their hands. (Major bonus points for being smart without being snobby!) It's easy for a doctor's practice to be a business, with every patient being just another customer. I've never felt like that when coming here. I was never rushed. The doctors will talk to you and remember you. They are genuinely concerned about you, not just your back. Scheduling/rescheduling appointments has also been nice and easy, I've never had any problems.

What made the situation even more frustrating was being told repeatedly that I was "next" to be seen, only to watch other patients who arrived after me and had later appointment times get called back first. When I asked about it, the explanations I received from the staff were inconsistent and didn't match what I had personally observed. Rather than acknowledging the excessive wait time and poor communication, I felt like I was being given excuses. The doctor's explanation only added to my frustration and did not address the actual issue. In fact, he took an incredibly rude attitude toward me when I inquired politely about it. I understand that medical offices can run behind, but waiting over two hours more than once is unacceptable. After speaking with others in the waiting room, it was clear that I was not the only one with this experience. Patients deserve honest communication and respect for their time. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

We returned to Dr. Hale after my mother underwent a second back surgery that left her in severe…read morepain and struggling to walk. Because he had done her original fusion and had such a strong reputation, we trusted him to give us an honest assessment. I brought her most recent CT and MRI scans, along with lab results showing a GFR of 17--the morning of that second surgery--indicating she was not an appropriate surgical candidate at the time. I also presented the report showing that a Coflex device had been used directly above a prior fusion, something that multiple sources list as contraindicated. Dr. Hale spent only a few minutes with her, glanced at the scans, and said everything looked fine. He offered no comment on the labs or the contraindicated device and simply recommended outpatient therapy. After her condition rapidly declined, we sought a second opinion from a top spinal surgeon at HSS, who reviewed the same imaging and said she was in urgent need of surgical intervention at that time. Unfortunately, by then it was too late. My mother is now wheelchair-bound, on dialysis three times a week, and unlikely to survive more than six months. She will live out what time she has left in pain--and in torment--knowing that those she once trusted to protect her instead looked the other way. From where I sit, it seems doctors protect their own, even when a patient's life is on the line.

All I can say is if you have been having issues with your back, neck, hips, legs, anyting really…read moreand have pain, you definitely need to go see dr. David. His bedside manner and his kindness is tremendous. Anybody who is scared of doctors will not be once you see him. He makes you feel comfortable and not only that.. he explains things to you so that you understand them completely. He was able to figure out issues I was having for over 15 years on top of the reason I went there for in the first place. I went there because I had a bad fall and he was able to help put a plan in motion with me to help fix what I injured, but after he saw my x-rays he was able to see things that for some reason all the doctors that I've gone to over the past 15 years have not seen. what I like about him the most is that he does not look at x-rays first! he does not look at previous charts first or your paperwork first... He listens first! Then after that he does an exam to help him understand what he is dealing with. Then once that is done he does the x-rays and taks his time to review them to make sure he sees everything! so usually you have to go back the next day to find out what the plan if attack is. I had no problem with that because he found the answer to my problem I've been searching for for 15 years like I said. Not only is he confident he can fix it I've already seen a huge improvement in the past two weeks I have been seeing him. I used to be a workout fanatic but had to stop because my lower back pain was unbearable. Come to find out my hips were uneven. He gave me a lift to put in my one shoe and that pretty much took away almost all of the pain I had in my lower back! He really is just a truly amazing doctor and man and I highly suggest him to anybody who wants answers to questions maybe other doctors have not answered and to help get rid of pain!
