It is clear that the director's vision is to provide a life long experience, and clearly Mr. Raymon Mason has succeeded in that mission. Just look at how many dancers graduated, moved on, but still come back every time when they are needed. They truly form an artistic family and support. We came from a different ballet school, not in town. Our school is wonderful too, but the competition to get cast or getting into the company is very high. So after many years of tears of not getting a part in shows, we tried out at IBT. To my most pleasant shock, IBT took us in and provided multiple stage roles. This is because IBT has a different philosophy and the artistic director Raymon is extremely confident in his artistry and therefore he adjusts choreography to include every dancer who is willing to work hard. Everyone in the company is super friendly and supportive too. Tessa, Genevieve, AJ, Charles... because the students and dancers have no competition in elbowing each other to get cast, everyone is nice to everyone. Watching the dancers helping each other to get ready during the show just melts your heart! I have to also say that the costumes at IBT are of the highest quality. IBT provides lots of show and outreach opportunities too. The annual tea party is a great example. The opportunity we are receiving is like living a dream.
