It's a great place to get a…read moreglass of wine (or two or three), because they have a Wine-o-Matic, which is a magical device that dispenses tastes or full glasses of wine from a selection in the machine. The way it works is that you tell the people behind the counter that you want to do the wine tasting, and then you add an amount of money onto a card. A small taste of wine might cost anywhere from $1 to $3, and a full glass might range from $3 to $6 or more, depending on the bottle. What I love about this system (the Wine-o-Matic) is that I can take my time, look at all of the options, process what I've looked at, and make a decision about what I want to drink without having to speak to anyone. This is a wine-loving introvert's dream! The lounge area where the Wine-o-Matic is located is very comfy -- there are couches and tables, as well as little nibbles available. I loved dispensing my wine into my glass, and then sitting back and enjoying the wine while relaxing in a comfortable and comfy room. The wine tasting room is a separate room from the rest of the store, so it was quiet while I was there, which I appreciated. Like I said, I visited Vintage a couple of times while I was in Elkhart Lake. One of the times, I visited to buy some local beer. They have individual cans, so you can create your own six-pack. They (of course) have Spotted Cow. There are also all kinds of gourmet food items, kitchen things and gifts. This is a really neat place to hang out or find a gift for the wine- or beer-loving person in your life.

The lemon pizza featured lemon flavor, of course, but it was perfectly balanced with the flavors of the smoked mozzarella, basil, arugula, and EVOO! The Beef Marsala was rich, but not too rich, in flavor with very tender pieces of beef braised in a red wine reduction and accompanied by mushrooms, creme fraiche, basil, mozzarella, and a delicious Marsala demi drizzle The crust on both was perfectly crispy with a slight chew. They call it Roman style pizza, in that the dough is made fresh in-house in the same manner the traditional Roman pizza (think thick, rectangular pizza) dough is made, but as a "pie" shape, you get a light, crunchy edge and crispy thin crust. It was unlike anything I've had in the Milwaukee area. My friend and I also started with glass of Macedonian pinot noir and finished with a traditionally small pour of Vin Chaud, which is similar to mulled wine. Both were fantastic! There are some gems in Elkhart Lake, and Harry's is one of them. I highly recommend you add Harry's to your list when in or near Elkhart Lake. This is the same family that opened Harry's Prohibition Bistro and Harry's Diner in Sheboygan, which I've also enjoyed in recent years!

I would say a more "upscale" or wood fired pizza with crispy crust - however the pizzas run on the smaller side, so make sure to order more than normal. The veggie, pepperoni and cheese were huge hits with the family! I probably would skip the house salad next time as it was a small portion for catering a big party.

We arrived about 10 minutes early, checked in with the hostess, and were told that due to the volume of reservations they were seating strictly on schedule, so we were asked to wait at the bar. Fair enough. When I made the reservation, I had noted that they were offering a "make your own mimosa bar," which sounded like a nice touch for Mother's Day. My mom and I planned to participate, so I asked whether we could get a mimosa from the station while we waited and either pay for it immediately or add it to our final bill. We were told no -- that we had to wait until we were seated. That seemed unnecessarily rigid given that we were already checked in and simply waiting for our table. The mimosa bar itself was also underwhelming. The champagne was pre-poured into plastic flutes and sitting out getting warm, while the juice options (orange, pomegranate, and "strawberry shortcake?") were also sitting out and not kept on ice. Overall, it did not feel particularly fresh or elevated. One of the specials was the "pendulum pancake." While the presentation is certainly novel -- the pancakes arrive hanging from a stake, swinging above the plate -- the actual dish was disappointing. The pancakes were quite small, with sliced banana layered between them, and overall the presentation looked sparse and a little tragic rather than indulgent or impressive. The rest of the food we ordered was fine. I had the standard breakfast, my husband ordered the chicken sandwich, and my dad had the burger. Ironically, the real standout of the meal was the fries. They also had a DJ playing during brunch. I understand the atmosphere they were trying to create, but that aspect also fell a bit flat. There is a lot of potential for this to become a more curated and unique occasion-style brunch experience, but the execution currently does not fully support the concept.

My bestie is SEVERELY allergic to poultry and her husband was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease which means gluten is no good (even "cross contamination"). This makes finding a restaurant that can accommodate their needs a huge challenge. Our server went out of her way to talk to the chef and check things out. They were able to accommodate these specific diets and still beautifully create their entrees. It has been horrible to adjust life with Celiac, so when the food came out, I really thought there might be some tears of joy. ;) This gave us more reasons to come back! Thank you!

We saw there were little signs by the doors that tell you what building is what. Once inside, we were seated immediately. Our waitress got us drinks within a minute of sitting down. I think her name was Ella or Ellie- she was very good. Knew when to come over and when to not come over. I ordered the lobster cargot for an appetizer - it didn't have much taste so I would pass on this in the future. The corn chowder was amazing !!!! Very flavorful. My lobster ravioli had a very nice portion size and lots of extra lobster. Our bill for 2 people who each had two alcoholic beverages was $150 with the tip. Cute date night spot. The reason for the 4 star was the blackened snapper paella wasn't good. The fish was burnt not blackened. My friend took the bottom off because of how burnt it was.
