Unfortunately, nothing that simply was not the case. I was reached out by Connor Brown, a very nice fellow on personal level however not on professional level. We had a phone call scheduled at 10am and even though that was very tough for me to make it due to my schedule, I managed to do that. And right when I am waiting for him to join the zoom conversation, I saw an email that was sent to me at 9:30 that there is a company wide training and that he is instructed to cancel his meeting. I have never heard of any company that suddenly needs to have a company wide meeting and cancel their client's appointments without proper few days advance notice. Regardless of that bad first impression I tried to be flexible and accepted another meeting for the same day at 3pm. Joined the Zoom conversation at 3pm and had to wait 5 6 mins for Connor to join. This would been fine if I did not have the cancellation from Ignite Visibility earlier. Throughout the 30 mins call I explained my company's unique circumstances and without him giving any major feedback or input as you would expect an expert to be able to do that, he suddenly says at 3:29pm that he has a meeting with his boss and he needs to go. Again I cannot comprehend a company placing a boss above customer service and client experience. He tells me he would call me back at 4pm. I had to make changes to my schedule to be able take his call at 4pm. Waited till 4:30 at my desk doing absolutely nothing thinking he would call within the next few mins from 4pm till 4:30pm when I realize he is not gonna call. No emails were sent to me to inform me of any issues and that I should not waste time and wait. One day later, Connor calls me and leaves me a voice mail telling me he would be able to fit out company in for a phone conversation, by the end of the week. After cancelling and disrespecting my time so many time, I would assume anyone would do whatever they can to get that client back on their schedule within the next 24hrs even if that meant to stay at the office extra hour or so. This is the common courtesy. Anyway, bottom line is if a company fails to meet their client's appointment multiple times, the boss or other company matters come ahead of their commitments to the appointments and they cannot even fulfill their commitments on appointment level, how can one trust them to deliver any result? There is no integrity, commitment and professionalism with Ignite Visibility. Something that their competitors have fully provided with no problem. I strongly recommend everyone from going to some other agency that have much more professional manners and respect for their customer's time. Remember, when someone does one thing one way they do everything that way. If they can't meet deadlines and appointments they can't do that for your project either.

I honestly have no idea how I was originally contacted by them, but I had to turn down the research study due to a conflict on the day. However, after finding out about them, I filled out my info to be added to their database for email opportunities. Since then, I have done 3 individual interviews and one focus group and earned over $400 for my time. Some of the studies are at the sites of the client, but most will be at Plaza Research's location in UTC - which is very conveniently near my work :D The process is: You apply for a study of interest and fill out the questionnaire. If you pass initial screening, you will receive a follow-up call with additional questions. I have added their number to my cell so I know when they are calling me. Then, if you are a fit they will offer you days and times for the study. These do require some flexibility in schedule if you are a weekday worker. I am usually able to pick a time to go straight from work in route home, or a long lunch. They are usually between 60-90 mins. I havent had the opportunity yet but they also do shop-alongs! I find it really fun. As an extrovert who loves sharing my opinions anyway, its a great way to earn some extra cash. They will typically provide you with a check made out to "cash" or prepaid gift cards (had that one time). Reimburse parking in their underground lot as well. Follow Plaza Research on facebook to get the heads up about even more opportunities than the digest emails.

They e-mail you, call you and arrange the date and time. They validated my parking (they do this for all the participants). The waiting room is comfortable and has snacks, the receptionist is polite. The study usually takes about an hour or so, and then the receptionist gives you your payment. I think what they are looking for are things like your body language, your physical reaction, how long you hesitant or how quick you are to answer. They pick up on details an online survey does not get. I cannot find any faults with this company.

After discussing the issues thoroughly, I accepted the proposal and joined the Dog and Rooster family where every need was tended to, questions quickly answered, and brainstorming sessions planned. I went through numerous designs until they showed me something I loved. Mind you, these were all CUSTOM made designs, none of the template nonsense you get elsewhere. Once we had the design squared away, Dog and Rooster worked to fully customize and design every page of my site. What I didn't like was quickly corrected, and where there was a problem, it was quickly addressed and rectified. You never feel pressured to do something you don't like, and you always leave strategy conferences feeling energized and excited, the feeling of which is only surpassed by the product unveils. In short, this firm kicks tail, and I would utilize them again in a heartbeat with any other project. I recommend Dog and Rooster because of their excellent eye, extremely friendly staff, and, most importantly, the beauty of their product. Three thumbs up!!

I knew something was fishy when I came in for my first interview and my interviewer was extremely vague about what the position entailed. Absolute BS!! Most…read morepeople have heard about the people who sell makeup crap and go from strip mall to strip mall and how they say you can be a manager in 6 months or so. Imagine the same thing, but now you are selling free consultations for people who want to do something with their kitchen, bath, closet or garage. Kitchen is their main focus and they try to sell you on a designer coming out that is willing to show you samples, free measurements, answer all your questions and give you an exact estimate (yeah, that's right, I've experienced it). And the big thing is that not only in the consultation free, but there is "no obligation to do anything", or so they say. They fail to mention that the designers actual job when he/she comes out is to make sure you buy something, he/she isn't really there just to be nice and give you options. A couple people at the top of the office are there to use and manipulate anyone who comes through the door. They focus on things such as "6 figure income, great attitude and be your own boss" so much because they are trying to implant it into your mind. Basically, they are trying to bring in people who can be turned into robots. It is clear that the strategy has worked on a few people, and also the reason why they are constantly hiring. Either people weren't producing, and they weren't making money or people were smart enough to figure their game out. The way it works is a lot like the pyramid system, but somehow legal (I would assume). They strongly emphasize that it's not a pyramid system which is shady enough. Bottom feeders come in for a short time, produce a little bit and these guys/girls (or girl I should say) make the money. Especially the top two guys. Listen, you can't win here. If you want to be used, go ahead. About 6 or 7 of the guys there will try their best to manipulate you and they do a pretty damn good job at it too. Either 1) They are the few that are in on this scam, or 2) They were able to be manipulated enough to be the "robots" this place wants to create. 1 star is better than this place deserves. Props to Mina for not even getting sucked into this in the first place. They hide their BS very well behind Home Depot. Unfortunately Home Depot makes a lot of money off of this, so it's not going away unless this fraud business they are dealing with does some serious damage.
