The event center itself is so beautiful. They had everything catered from the hors d'oeuvres to the wine bar. The women helped themselves and we stood around mingling and admiring the designs of Sharon Tal. Later we listened to a speech from Sharon Tal and the president of Maskit in Israel, Ruth Dayan. She couldn't be there in person as she was busy celebrating her birthday at 101 years young!! Yes, she does act young for this age, as I viewed a YouTube video of her having a good ole time in the Russian dance club. As a gift Maskit got her a barrel of her favorite alcohol to celebrate her life and legacy of this company. I thoroughly enjoyed this event and learning about how Sharon Tal became a fashion designer from working with the world renowned Alexander McQueen to designed her own outfits for the runway, everything was amazing to see and hear. I hope to be able to attend more fun events like this here again soon!

They have limited space for wedding ceremonies and, according to their website, are strict with the number of people that can attend. They can convert the ceremony space into a reception area and have many different options and packages available. The only thing I would complain about is the fact there was only one person that both coordinates the event and officiates the ceremony. I think having an additional person would've alleviated some confusion as the ceremony began. Otherwise, if you're looking for an inexpensive and intimate venue for a wedding with your closest friends and family, this is the place for you.

Sometimes a deal can turn into a nightmare. Ms. Marquette took us on as a client under the "I'm…read moregiving you a deal" because a close friend of ours gave us her name. I gave her my budget for my daughter's Quinceañera (15th Birthday Party) this is a big deal in our Hispanic culture. Everything was going great during the initial negotiation stage, then as soon as we signed the contract Ms. Marquette became the most unprofessional and rude person I have ever dealt with in my professional work. Everything she promised at the time of delivery she cold not deliver it. Here are a few examples to show the experience. 10 days before the party she told me she could not get us the decorations in the color we agreed and I had to request them from an external supplier on my own (the decorations came late and there were not able to be used for my party). She arrived at 6:29pm to open the doors for us to set up and our party was to start at 7pm. We In the contract it clearly stated that she would have servers and that is not what happened, she had her family members including children under 10 years old of age serving our guest. She wanted to do everything her way and did not want to take our desires into consideration. She was extremely rude to me, my family and our guest. My Master of Ceremonies had to plead with her while we were getting ready to start the party so she could stop screaming at our guest and their children. The energy was so negative and and the MC had to apologize to the guest and did everything she could to turn this negative energy into positive energy. My daughter thank God had a nice party and we are thankful we did everything we could to make this a positive experience for her but she had to wait 45 minutes in the car because Mr. Marquette refused to let her wait inside a second room she had in the facility. It's tradition that the birthday young girl is not to be seen until all guest have arrived but Ms. Marquette did not respect our tradition nor did she cared about our feelings. I will not recommend her or her facility and if I could do it again I would have used another facility and event coordinator. The frustration, lack of proper treatment and undelivered promised was not worth it. We had to retake the pictures of my daughter another day because Ms. Marquette kept screaming at the photographer for taking my daughter in the location or outside. I would have paid more and would have done it happily it it meant all of these could have been avoided it. At the end it was not a deal as everything she did not provide which she promised us, we had to pay out of pocket. I hope you rethink a deal or if you take it, please get out of it the moment you see these signs.
