They wait until the parent arrives to pick up the child that day to view the injury ,explain what had happened, and then give out an incident report (which is standard) for the parent to sign. They operate on the CYA policy. Even if it is a "very hard fall." The owner makes it very clear that she wants your business but doesn't need it. She lets you know that there is a wait list to get into her school. So if you don't fit their criteria, demographic, or criticize (the way they care for your child) then there's someone in line waiting to take your place. Money in money out. They don't consider that because of a parent staff conflict the child is the one who suffers. Not just in the case of an injury but also because of a change in the child's regiment and development. Don't get me wrong I like the school and I like the teachers but the owner is a big problem.

While working there, my daughter attended the daycare, starting in the toddler class and moving onto the two older classes. I was so happy to have her in such a loving environment. They went above and beyond what a daycare is. They not only kept her safe and busy, they also made sure her individual needs were met (she needed a longer nap time than others and they also worked with me on my request of reducing her thumb sucking) they taught her a wonderful preschool education (she was reciting the entire pledge of allegiance AND writing her name clearly at the age of 3!) She learned to care for her peers and respect adults. They also had fun "beach days", teddy bear picnics, and annually have the fire department come by to talk to the children about safety and let them tour the fire truck. The toys are constantly being cleaned and rotated. They made sure specific health requests were met, from medications to allergies. When bringing your child here, this daycare facility feels more like an extended family because of the small class sizes and caring staff. I highly recommend this wonderful business to families who want the best for their children!

We loved the staff, curriculum, and that our son always came home with something he had learned or created that day with a daily sheet of activities, food, etc. Each room has at least 1 long term staff member with a few that come and go being that it's a large military community which is expected. The director Renee is great as well with communication, dedication to the program, and I always saw her helping out all levels when I randomly stopped by or at pick ups. Even though my son has now started Kindergarten he frequently asks to visit his previous teachers. I'm so happy our son was able to attend M&M!

I even had a teacher (from a different age group who was actively caring for children when I arrived) follow me to the infant room and harass me about why I didn't respond to the photo they sent of an injury my child received under the direct care of that teacher. Not to mention for getting shamed by them for not wanting my kid to eat the trash food they provided. I know kitsap county has the WORST availability for daycare, please do not send your children here. I've also edited my review to add that there were many time where my child hadn't been fed or given a nap but they would complain that he was difficult those days because he was upset all day. I literally looked at them and said "I wonder why when he hasn't been fed on time or had any sleep". Once at pickup they even said "oh yea, hes hungry" because they noticed they missed his next bottle. I don't completelt blame the teachers because if their management had provided adequate support, this may not have happened. Check google reviews too!! Older children have escaped from an unlocked/broken fence gate and ended up in the street.

I worked at previous day cares in my hometown and this one has been my favorite so far. The director (Ms Anna) and program manager (Ms Cassy) are some really amazing, kind hearted people. They always have the best interest of the kids in mind, you can tell they are really in it for the best reasons! There were tons of areas for me to grow and learn as a worker there. I was able to work with almost every age group (which was THE BEST part). The community of workers here was also my favorite part. Everyone who worked here while I did was exactly what I would want in a childcare for my child. Loving, caring people with the ability to teach and adapt to different children's learning styles. We were reassured that they would work with him, support his progress, and that there was no need for concern. However, after only three days of attendance, we received a phone call at pickup informing us--without any prior warning or discussion--that it would be his last day. If you have a 3-year-old with similar behavioral challenges, I would recommend taking their assurances with caution and making sure you have a backup plan in place, as unfortunately we did not. If there was an option for 0 stars I'd pick that.

The selling point for me was the courteous staff, the way they communicated with my children, and myself as a parent. The class sizes are not extremely large to where I feel as though my child would get lost in the crowd. The teachers keep parents well informed of activities, lesson plans, meals, etc. Knowing lesson plans and what was covered for the day allows me to come home and build upon the day's activities and accelerate their development. This summer they brought in a magician, made ice cream, and lots of other activities. And potty training... They made that a breeze. My children have bonded greatly with their teachers and talk about them constantly.
