My rule of thumb is that the harder it is to get a straight answer on price, the more you can trust that you are getting ripped off. If prices are fair, sellers are happy to share them. I scanned their entire website, and not a single price is provided. The website offers free quotes, but that turns out to be "in person" quotes only, and I guarantee what they quote will A) be confusing and more expensive than expected, B) not be what you eventually are charged, and C) will lock you into something you don't want. I contacted Weedman and set up an appointment. As it was the first appointment I expected to show him exactly where I wanted sprayed. Long story short he did not meet with me in person, he just showed up and and sprayed the entire garden patch and this treatment KILLED all my flowering plants. They did not grow back this year, I have a barren garden...oh. except for the weeds that grew back. I would not recommend this company. read more

They charged me $260 for grub control that I didn't request or want... they said they emailed me on the 21st to let me know they were doing it the 22nd! Our lawn has never looked better. Weed Man has super friendly employees and excellent scheduling procedures. Honestly, we may have had to re-seed our lawn if it weren't for these guys. They provide a check list of anything they may have noticed while doing maintenance. This is the first lawn we have ever had to care for, as we have always lived in apartments previously. They let us know that we weren't mowing our lawn often enough even though it looked okay, which saved us from exacerbating a small mold issue that had started in a more wet area of our yard. Weed man is a great lawn care service. They have been taking care of my lawn for 2 years now and my lawn looks great. They work around your schedule if needed and call in advance to let you know when they are coming out. The guys that come out are very knowledgeable of all things going on with your lawn and what is neede to fix it. I have 4 dogs and the fertilizer and weed killer for dog friendly. Dogs are out in the yard the same day they treat the lawn and I have never had a problem. I recommend them to anyone who wants nice lawn and are worried about the pets. read more

This company knocked on my door one day, offering a free quote of weed prevention for my yard. 2 years later, they're still randomly calling me. When I say random, they're calling in late September, early October. Wouldn't the most ideal time to take care of summertime weeds be before the summer? I rarely get a call in the spring, but the last 4 weeks I've gotten 10-15 calls a week. They almost always call after 5PM, never leave a legitimate voicemail (dead air), and when I call the number back, "sorry, we're closed". Then who just called me? The best part, I never signed up with them! I've never paid them a dime and they've never laid down anything in my yard. All I know is if you want my business, the best way to NOT get it is to annoy me to the point where I call the corporate office to have my number removed from your calling list. I would love to give them 1 star, but honestly, I don't know how their service actually is. They may have the best product on the market, but the sales team is annoying to the point where they'll never get my business. read more
