Wrong color, wrong finish, company they use to move furniture broke my kitchen table and torchere lamp. Their insurance company offered negligible replacement $. Now that moving company is in bankruptcy. When I got Weeks over to talk about color and finish issues (I just wanted what had been done before and they said they could do it), they said "I don't think you remember what it looked like before". Not so! It had been a special natural water based finish that they did not match. They offered minimal compensation for my damaged furniture and none for their work. read more

they installed about 1700 sq ft of carpet. They were careful with our furniture and did an outstanding job in 4 bedrooms, a family room and a staircase. They cleaned up all the debris and kept asking us if they needed to do more. wow are we impressed. I recommend them highly for outstanding work. My house looks stunning. We had a refrigerator leak that caused floor to be removed in the kitchen and then all floors redone throughout the house. My family has a hardwood flooring business in another state that my father started so I know what quality work looks like. Weeks did quality work throughout the process. They even fixed a few small problems better than I would have expected. They are a little more expensive but the quality of their work would cause me to hire them again without question. Weeks Hardwood Flooring does amazing work. My engineered wood floors, not properly laid down initially by another company, were coming loose from the underlying slab. I had heard it was possible to re-glue them with glue injected between the boards without leaving marks. The company that installed the floors told me this wasn't possible and that they would have to drill visible holes into the boards. Another company made a mess by attempting to remove boards in the middle of the floors, pouring in glue, and then forcing the boards back into place. When I called Weeks, I was pretty desperate. I was astounded when Julie Hartsell, the sales representative, told me that, yes, they could inject glue down to the slab invisibly by going between the boards. I was even more astounded when she quoted me the very reasonable price for the work. The scheduling with Luke Weeks was an easy and pleasant process, and Julie and Luke kept me informed always. Aldo Zarko, the specialist who arrived to do the job, found the areas that needed repair and knew exactly what to do in each location, including how much weight to put on each spot and how much time it would take for the glue in each location to dry. My floors are in better shape than when originally installed and look just great, with no visible marks at all. The whole process took less than 2 hours, plus drying times ranging from 24 to 48 hours per area, with minimal inconvenience to me. Aldo is a master, and his work is of the highest quality. Weeks saved me the thousands of dollars it would have taken to replace the floor. They're an excellent, honest company I recommend without reservation. read more

After four calls I finally got a call back, Seth,the sales guy was a half hour late for a on site meeting, which when the meeting ended he indicated that he would send me a quote that afternoon, it came four days later. Because no other floor finishers were available, I still chose to use weeks. I followed there rule of scheduling two weeks in advance. The day to begin the job came, no crew. I called to ask what was going on, the response was Seth's on vacation and your not scheduled. They were able to get a crew over the following day. The job was mediocre at best and I have to have all my baseboards re-painted because when they treated the wood floor they slopped the finish all over the base boards. The floor sanding is incomplete and not uniform. Greensboro is in need of a quality wood floor finishing company! read more

First of all I am not affiliated with this company in any way other than just a random customer. After calling Weeks Flooring a sales person promptly responded to my home to give me an estimate on refinishing my floors. Although the estimate was fair, I still went online to check previous reviews of the company as any responsible homeowner should. Seeing the poor review on this site, which I now believe is bogus, I was skeptical on using the company, but after contacting a neighbor of mine who just recently used this company and was very pleased, I decided to go with them. Throughout the process, every person from the company who showed up, on time every time, to our home was not only very friendly and professional, their work was outstanding. We felt that they took their job personally and wanted the finished product to be perfect. The floors turned out better than I ever expected. We recently used Weeks for the second time after having a good first experience in another home. We requested Bona Traffic (used previously) because of its durability with our children and dogs. Weeks completed the job and within a week the floors were already showing scratches down to the raw wood. In addition, they did a very poor job matching up to existing floors (3 shades lighter) and the finish looked dull and chalky. After a few weeks and even more scratches, we contacted Weeks and requested the owner look at the floors. During his visit, he openly admitted that they no longer used the Bona Traffic product because it no longer was a good product. I asked why he would allow his company to put on a product with notifying his customer of this information. His reply was because "that was what we requested!" With much negotiating with our builder, Weeks finally agreed to come back and refinish our floors with the Trek product and to better match the existing stained floors. We left our home for 10 days while this was being done. We returned to floors that looked 2 shades lighter than the original stain we were trying to match to and the floors were very dull. We requested a semi top coat rather than satin the second go around to ensure a shinier finish. We kept our dogs off the floors for another week then walked gingerly on the floors during the next two weeks until we were told the floors would be fully cured. During this time, more and more scratches down to the bare wood appeared. I have contacted Jason and Fred at Weeks and requested they come look at the floors, neither of which have shown up. In addition, Weeks damaged multiple brand new custom kitchen cabinets by scraping them with their sander and got stain all over our moldings. We had to have 9 of the cabinets resanded and repainted as well as a full day of painters in our home doing touch up work. The cost of these repairs was expensive and time spent to fix everything inconveniencing to our family. Their customer service and quality of work has gone downhill and I would NEVER recommend Weeks to anyone. They do not stand behind their work or their customers. If you want good quality work, I would highly recommend REVCO Flooring in the Greensboro area. Do not waste your time or money with this company!!! read more
