Where do I start? I brought in my son's brand new iPad for a simple screen repair, he dropped it less than a week after we purchased it. They "replaced" the screen but when we got home, the glue had already lifted and a large gap was visible. Of course this led the screen to crack as it had no stability. We drove another 2 hours to the same location and explained the situation. We were told we had to pay again because of the cracked screen. I explained that if it had been repaired properly, it would not have cracked to begin with. Regardless, we paid another $160 for another screen. Surprise! Same thing happened this time around. To prevent further charges, I would not let my son use his iPad to protect it from breaking, and we made a 3rd trip. This time we had ghosting issues and the touch screen would not work at all. After 5 trips, we still have an iPad that does not work. We were told to leave it overnight so they could remove the glue and start over completely. We did and now the thing will not charge because the screen is once again lifting and not connecting with the charging port. I cannot sit and hold the iPad all day to ensure it charges properly. At this point, what is the point to even go back for repairs. I have a 2 hour drive each time. Completely frustrated!!!! read more
