Within days the basement had flooding issues, including mold which needed immediate attention. When she went to use the basement bathroom it was clear that something wasn't right. She contacted a plumber and apparently the major pipes were not connected under the flooring and the entire bathroom will need to be torn up and re done in order to be functional! I get the appeal and the benefit of being able to purchase a rundown house, inexpensively, renovate it and then sell it making a profit. I have done it myself several times over the years...That's all good, but this was not that! and this is way too small a state to do business this way.
