She is very passionate about her job and my daughter greatly enjoys going here before school and after school. It's a great benefit that Carmen offers to take her to and from school nearby. Her helper Francis is also very interactive and nurturing with the children. My daughter learned a lot before starting Kindergarten. I had planned to enroll her in preschool but decided not too after seeing how much she was learning here, I always recommend Carmen's daycare whenever I have friends or family needing child care service.

My children are now academically challenged and they couldn't be happier. They love the curriculum and everything that DES has to offer. Mr. Bellmyer and Mrs. Scharwath are great teachers and I'm glad we are lucky enough to have them as role models for our munchkins. Class sizes are small, the new leader program is amazing, and when they say they truly understand that "one size does not fit all", they mean it! They even accommodated the school lunch menu to include vegetarian options for our child. My son loves using his iPad and my daughter has become very efficient at using her Chromebook. The only disappointment was that they do not offer Rosetta-Stone or dual language learning. Maybe this can be achieved in the near future. Principal Ellis is doing an amazing job and DES truly looks out for their students! It doesn't go unnoticed, keep up the great work!!

Very impressed and pleased so far. In just a few months, my daughter's grade rose from a "F", to a…read more"D", then a solid "B". Her teacher had strongly advised her and I that she move to a slower-paced geometry course or else she would fail the class. Her Mathnasium instructor, the franchise Owner, had faith in my daughter's ability to succeed in this area of math (i.e., honors geometry) right from the start - at a time when my daughter did not have faith in herself and her own abilities. She regularly attended the tutoring sessions, worked hard, and followed their guidance. She literally went from tears, to exclamations of joy by the end of the semester. My daughter in the past tended to do well in her other subjects, but has either struggled with math or found it challenging, and it was never her favorite subject. Her self-esteem with respect to the subject of math is so much improved, with the possibility that she may come to even like math before all is said and done! I'm very greatful for the time, attention, and assistance the staff at Mathnasium has provided my daughter with her efforts and desire to succeed in the subject area of math. The owner was a godsend at the time when my daughter really needed divine intervention in order for her to pass honors geometry. With her grade of "B" she has exceeded her own expectations, and is performing at a level both her mother and I (her father) felt she could. (Hopefully, an eventual "A" quarter-grade is around the corner.) I thank God for my daughter's success so far. That is far from the truth. The students and faculty are severely taken advantage of. This school is all about money, money, money. Money in the pockets of those who run it. I am a student and do not feel as if I've gotten a quality education, especially for the tuition prices. Nothing is updated. The science students have no new technology. There are leaks in the ceilings, constant problems with the A/C, blindsiding, high turnover of staff and so much more. Please, please reconsider attending or allowing your child to attend Spring Hill College. It will be more hassle than it's worth.
