I have never had any issues with any procedures received here, although, thankfully, I received all my major dental work earlier in life. I have been seen on time at my scheduled appointments and treated with care by the front desk staff, hygienists, and dentist (I have had Dr. Genkin) for final review. This office has late hours too, which is great for me - I've scheduled appointments as late as 7:15 pm on select weeknights. This is a very professional office, though the waiting room carries only the din of silence, or the dialogues between mostly Russian patients. Nearly all of the papers are in Russian, which isn't surprising, given that this is in the far Northeast, but I can read any of the magazines laid out on the table or have a drink of water. Oddly enough, there is an HDTV in the waiting room, but I've never seen it on during my late-night visits. Maybe its on during the typical weekday business hours? Note that they do not accept personal checks, but accept credit cards and have a financing plan for patients without insurance.

I found Premier Dental in my neighborhood and thought I would give it a try. First step was evaluation and teeth cleaning. There, I was introduced to ALEXIS the dental hygienist. SHE WAS FABULOUS! She calmed my nerves with a vibrating dental chair and her caring personality. She explained every step she took and was very gentle. The numbing gel worked wonderful. The initial cleaning was thorough and no pain. I had to go back for deep cleaning for a few teeth but I had no worries. I did not feel the needle and had no pain during the procedures. The lady at the front desk was extremely pleasant and wonderful in helping me have all of my X-rays and paperwork transferred over from my previous dentist. During my consultation, Dr Rooney knew I was strapped for time, so she actually did the cleaning herself to save me the visit. She was very nice to talk to as well. Hands down Dr. Fava and the Pennsylvania Center for Dental Implants and Periodontics have some of the best people in the Dentistry field. A little background, over the years I was hard on my front teeth and have experienced a ?few? traumatic episodes in which my real teeth and then dental bridge have been knocked out of my face. The trauma has resulted in the degradation of my remaining teeth that support my then existing dental bridge. Dr. Fava was tasked with removing the damaged teeth and replacing them with implants. I cannot thank Dr. Fava and his wonderful staff enough. Dr. Fava is better than great, he is fantastic! His knowledge and expertise in periodontics is astounding. She did not want dentures. We went to several dentists and they did not want to work on my mom's teeth. The other dentist would say it's easier to rip all her teeth out and give her dentures. So I was so happy when Dr Zin accepted this challenging case. His fee was very fair for the amount of work I was expecting to pay more. Dr Zin was respectful, nice and gentle with my mother.
