Please do not patronize this company. Deceitful business practice. Company knew I was watching every penny a s I rebuilt my Sandy ravaged home. Charged me a restocking fee despite the tens of thousands of dollars I spent there. Did not tell me there was a policy until they charged me. They told me that they were "comfortable" with my decision to take my remaining business elsewhere. Complaints to the better business bureau went unanswered. read more

When I went to Universal I spoke to a guy named George at the counter and he was very knowledgable and very helpful. The store I went to was on Doughty Road in Pleasantville. I do not know if they have other branches.

I've purchased quite a few things for my house from Weinstein! Their customer service is top notch and they always have the best quality products! I really appreciated the help and guidance I received from one of their sales rep's, Lynn! She was informative, patient and helped me find the right options for what I needed! Showroom has had a complete overhaul. It doesn't look like the same business. Everything I needed for my bath remodel was available at Weinstein. The sales team is friendly and knowledgeable, and provided an estimate very quickly. There was a backorder for one item on my order, but I was kept informed by my associate. Very helpful. The guy emailed me back and said I was bothering him so he said he would mail the check back to me and I could find a different roofer! After 2 weeks still no check, and I had found another roofer, I went to the business to pick up the check. They had made it out two weeks earlier and never mailed it and their excuse was they're too busy, too many customers. And I asked if that is good customer service and the guy turned around and went into the office. Very rude and they act like they are doing you a favor by spending my $20,000 to put your roof on . No thanks. I was warned about them before hiring them, I wish I had listened.
